After a near three-week break in the WNBA schedule for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup that the U.S. triumphed in, the league returns in style Thursday night with a loaded five-game schedule. Most players should have an extra spring in their step thanks to the extended break, which theoretically could result in a bit more offense than usual, particularly at this late stage of the season.

There’s also only one week remaining in the regular season, and although all playoff spots are already spoken for, there is still some postseason positioning at play.

Best WNBA Thursday Player Props

  • Allisha Gray Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
  • Shakira Austin Over 26.5 Points + Rebounds
  • Paige Bueckers Over 27.5 Points + Assists

Allisha Gray (Dream vs. Sun) Over Points + Rebounds + Assists

Gray headed into the FIBA break in fine form, averaging 28.7 points + rebounds + assists on 47.9% shooting, including 40.6% from three-point range, over her last 10 games. The veteran guard hit or exceeded 20 points on six occasions in that span, and she pulled down five or more rebounds in five instances as well. Gray has also averaged a robust 19.2 field-goal + free-throw attempts per contest in the sample, giving her a great floor in terms of usage.

Gray opens the final week of the regular season with a very inviting matchup, one she’s already thrived in on two prior occasions this season. Gray is averaging 35 points + rebounds + assists across 32.0 minutes per contest in her two prior games against the Sun, shooting an elite 56.7%, including 50.0% from behind the arc. Connecticut continues to be an excellent team to target with guards as well, as the Sun is surrendering the second-most points (49.2), third-most rebounds (12.5) and seventh-most assists (13.0) per contest to the position. Connecticut is also conceding the third-highest shooting percentage on the road (47.9%), including the fourth highest from three-point range (36.1%).

Shakira Austin (Mystics at Sky) Over Points + Rebounds

Austin is putting the finishing touches on a career-best regular season, as she’s boasting new high-water marks in scoring (16.8 points), rebounds (9.4), assists (2.5) and blocks (1.3) per contest. The versatile center is also shooting a crisp 48.9%, including a career-high 34.0% from behind the arc. Austin was even better over the last few weeks before the FIBA break, as she’d contributed 30.0 points + rebounds on 53.5% shooting across the last 13 games before the pause in play.

The Sky has been a team to target with bigs all season, as Chicago has been largely ineffective preventing opponent rebounds. Chicago is allowing a WNBA-high 46.1 rebounds per game, along with the second-highest defensive rebounding rate (78.3%) and sixth-highest offensive rebounding rate (26.9%). The Sky has also surrendered the third-most rebounds per game to centers (9.7), along with 47.5% shooting to the position, while Austin averaged exactly one point + rebound per minute during her 25-minute stint in her sole game against Chicago this season.

Original Line Publish: 26.5

Paige Bueckers (Wings vs. Sparks) Over Points + Assists

Bueckers is fresh off having played a key complementary role for the USA in the FIBA Cup, and she’s now set to put the final touches on an impressive regular season ahead of the Wings’ postseason run. Bueckers has improved her numbers across the board from what was an already impressive 2025 rookie campaign, putting up 20.5 points (on 50.6% shooting, including 39.7% from three-point range), 5.9 assists and 4.1 rebounds per contest across 33.1 minutes per contest. Bueckers’ usage has also been excellent, as she’s averaged 18.9 field-goal + free-throw attempts per game.

The Sparks have allowed 31.0 points + assists across 34 minutes per game in two previous encounters this season, shooting 53.1%, including 37.5% from three-point range. Bueckers’ individual points + assists tallies in those games were 32 and 30, well ahead of tonight’s prop. Los Angeles also continues to be very vulnerable to guards, surrendering a WNBA-high 50.9 points per game to the position, along with the fourth-most assists per contest to the position (14.0). Additionally, the Sparks have facilitated a league-high 40.3 field-goal attempts per game to guards, implying Bueckers should have plenty of opportunity to cash this prop.
