An intriguing conference matchup between two teams who experienced vastly different Week 1 outcomes caps off the second slate of the 2026 NFL season.
The Giants looked like a revitalized team in their first regular-season game under new head coach John Harbaugh while knocking off the Cowboys last Sunday night, while the Rams, a preseason Super Bowl favorite, fell completely flat in a 27-7 loss to the division-rival 49ers in Australia and now face the likely prospect of trying to break the ice without star receiver Puka Nacua (hip).

Giants-Rams Best NFL Week 2 Player Props
- Jaxson Dart Over 30.5 Rushing Yards

Jaxson Dart Over Rushing Yards
Dart hit the ground running in the Week 1 matchup against the division-rival Cowboys, adding 54 rushing yards on 11 attempts alongside his pristine 230-yard, three-touchdown effort through the air. As was the case during his rookie 2025 campaign, the dynamic signal-caller didn’t have any qualms about either pulling down the ball and taking off under pressure or carrying out some designed run plays.
The expectation coming into the season was the Rams’ pass rush would be the league’s most prolific, ,but Myles Garrett’s knee issues, which have since landed him on IR, and the absence of Aaron Donald in Week 1 led to Los Angeles severely underwhelming. Nevertheless, with Donald set for a Week 2 debut and the likes of Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske and Byron Young among those set to complement him, there’s a good chance Dart will have reason to bail out of the pocket on a few occasions.
Factor in some schemed runs, and there’s reason to back the idea of Dart exceeding 30 rushing yards for the 10th time in 16 career games.

Kyren Williams Over Receiving Yards
As alluded to earlier, the Rams appear increasingly likely to play Monday night’s game without Puka Nacua due to his hip injury, and No. 3 receiver Jordan Whittington is also doubtful because of a quadriceps injury. Multiple absences at receiver would naturally benefit the likes of Davante Adams (more on that below) and Los Angeles’ extremely deep tight-end room, but Williams also stands a chance to see more work as a pass catcher.
The versatile back delivered a 3-24-0 line on three targets in Week 1 and ran a total of 20 routes overall, and that was with a fully healthy wide-receiver corps for the Rams. Williams also logged a solid 39 snaps in that loss to the Niners despite splitting his fair share of time with Blake Corum, and in 2025, the former had at least 11 receiving yards in 14 of 20 regular-season and postseason games.
The Giants gave up a 5-31-1 receiving line to Cowboys backs in Week 1, furthering Williams’ case.

Davante Adams Over Receiving Yards
Adams appears poised to serve as the focal point of the Rams’ passing game Monday night if Nacua’s availability continues to trend downward, as was reported Sunday. Adams would serve as the de facto No. 1 receiver if Nacua sits out, and needless to say, the former would be in line for a significant bump in targets without his star teammate on the field.
Adams was held to 26 receiving yards on three receptions (six targets) in Week 1, but that game was a complete outlier for the Rams’ offense. In his 2025 Rams debut campaign, Adams recorded over 55 receiving yards in 11 of 17 regular-season and postseason games, and that figure is one he’s naturally blown past countless times during his storied career.
The Giants conceded a 12-112-1 line to Cowboys receivers in Week 1 with the advantage of being on their home field, and New York is traveling across the country and facing Los Angeles with a depleted cornerback room that sees one starter, Deonte Banks, trending toward a game-time decision because of a calf injury.
