In their last game, Golden State took the win on the road in the Moda Center as they hope to do tonight. Thompson led the Warriors with 32 points, and Lillard had 40 points.

Warriors Analysis
The Warriors hope to finish up their pre-All-Star break schedule with six consecutive wins, but they’ll have to do so against a tough Portland team on the second night of a back-to-back. On their current five-game streak, the Warriors have had big wins over the San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz last night in what has been an undefeated month of February.
The Warriors’ defense limited the Trail Blazers to just 14 first-quarter points. They also had a late rally while Portland went through a scoring drought late in the game to secure the win.
Kevin Durant led the Warriors with 28 points and seven assists, and Stephen Curry added 24 points. While DeMarcus Cousins struggled offensively for the second consecutive game, he finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in just 28 minutes.
Klay Thompson jammed his finger in the Utah game but he returned to the game and finished with 22 points, and Steve Kerr has already said Thompson will not be held out of tonight’s game.

Blazers Analysis
The Trail Blazers had a big win against the San Antonio Spurs last Thursday, but since then have dropped their last two, a 101-102 loss to the Dallas Mavericks and a 111-120 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night.
If they are hoping to stop this brief skid, they couldn’t have picked a tougher team to try to end it against.
Against the Thunder, they were outscored by 19 points in the first half, and while they rallied back in the third, Oklahoma City answered back to secure the win. With Jusuf Nurkic not finishing with anything close to what he scores on a per-game basis, the Blazers struggled to find offense from other players, as Maurice Harkless also managed just three points as a starter and C.J. McCollum was limited to 13 points.
Damian Lillard tried to put the team on his back as he finished with 31 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, but he just didn’t get enough help, and with Paul George and Russell Westbrook both achieving triple-doubles, Lillard’s effort alone wasn’t enough, especially against George, who had 47 points.
Jake Layman has been a bright spot for the Blazers lately, and he had another standout performance with 17 points in the loss.
