Best Bet: U6.5 (-115) at Hard Rock Bet
Score Prediction: Rays 4, Guardians 2
The Pick: Rays 4, Guardians 2
We’ll stick with the Under based on the arms for each team starting along with head-to-head data, not to mention Tampa’s data on the road against this divison.
Game Betting Analysis
The Under still provides the best merit when combing the data, despite missing in Game 4. The Under has still hit in four of the last six meetings between both clubs, along with nine of the last 12 head-to-heads. Now, the Rays send their ace Drew Rasmussen to the mound, so runs will be scarce for the Guardians. Tampa Bay has also seen the Under hit in six of seven road games vs the AL Central, that one miss coming yesterday. Cleveland also sends a solid arm to the mound in Parker Messick,, as he has seen the NRFI hit in four straight starts against Tampa Bay.

Deciding Factor: José Ramírez’s Playoff Tear vs. Tampa Bay’s Shaky Bullpen
José Ramírez has been the best hitter in this entire postseason bracket, batting .348 with a 1.183 OPS and piling up eight hits and eight RBI across Cleveland’s October run. He enters tonight on an 8-for-23 stretch with two home runs since the ALCS opened, including a 3-for-5 night with two runs scored and an RBI in Cleveland’s Game 1 win, and he closed out the ALDS with back-to-back homers in Games 4 and 5, the second a go-ahead two-run shot that sent the Guardians to this series. As a switch-hitter, Ramírez carries no platoon disadvantage against right-hander Drew Rasmussen tonight, and a hitter running this hot, with this kind of track record in win-or-else games, is the single biggest variable standing between Tampa Bay and a trip back home for Game 6.
Tampa Bay, meanwhile, has already shown exactly how it can lose a game Rasmussen pitches well enough to win. In Game 1 of this series, Rasmussen worked into the sixth and turned in six-plus strong innings — two earned runs, seven strikeouts — before Patrick Bailey’s solo homer in the seventh tied the game and ended his night, handing a game he’d largely controlled over to a bullpen that couldn’t hold it. Tyler Wells and Ian Seymour combined to let Cleveland seize the lead in the eighth, with Nathaniel Lowe’s two-run single off Seymour breaking it open on the way to a 7-3 Guardians win. If Rasmussen delivers another long, effective start tonight and Tampa Bay’s bridge relievers buckle again in a tight, late-inning spot, Ramírez and this Cleveland lineup have already proven they’re built to make the Rays pay for it.
