Arsenal vs. Lille: Martin Ødegaard 1+ Goals + Assists (+105)

Arsenal have not lost a step after finally winning the English Premier League last season and finishing as runner-up in the Champions League. The London-based club took care of business in Matchweek 1 vs. Napoli, and has now won eight of its nine games across all competitions this season. A big reason for the early-season success has been the play of their captain, Martin Odegaard. After some fairly inconsistent play over the past few years, the Norwegian midfielder appears back at the top of his game in the opening months of this new campaign.

Odegaard enters Matchweek 2 leading Arsenal with four non-penalty goals across all competitions, and scored the lone goal in the 1-0 win over Napoli to open the UCL season. The former Real Madrid academy star has fit perfectly into the number 10 role for Mikel Arteta and has provided a much-needed spark to an attack that struggles at times. Arsenal come into Tuesday as heavy favorites over French club Lille, and Odegaard will once again help lead his team to a perfect start in the Champions League.

Viking vs. Bayern Munich: Michael Olise 1+ Assists (+110)

Michael Olise is making a strong case for the “best in the world” title after his start this season. The 24-year-old Frenchman has followed up an extraordinary World Cup campaign this Summer with an exceptional start to his third season in Germany. The superstar RW now has 17 goal contributions across all competitions, including two goals and an assist in the Champions League opener back in September.

Olise has the luxury of playing alongside two other world-class attackers in Luis Diaz and Harry Kane, who have made his job as a playmaker much easier over the past few seasons. Since joining Bayern in 2024, Olise now has 50 goals and 49 assists – leading all players in the Champions League last season. With his club now favored by over -1000 vs. Viking, Olise is sure to add to these numbers in a game with an implied total of over 4.5 goals.

Galatasaray vs. Barcelona: Uğurcan Çakır 6+ Saves (+115)

One of the most intriguing matchups on Tuesday sees the Champions of Spain head to Istanbul to take on one of the competition’s most notoriously difficult away clubs, Galatasaray. The hostile environment has helped its side stump some big clubs in the past, but maybe none bigger than the form Barcelona arrives in. Hansi Flick’s side has won every game across all competitions this season, beating opponents by two or more goals in each fixture.

The reigning La Liga Champions dominated Feyenoord 5-1 in their Champions League opener last month and finished with 24 total shots in a dominant victory. Galatasaray GK Ugurcan Cakir will undoubtedly be kept busy against the relentless Barcelona attack, which leads all clubs in Europe’s top 5 leagues in goals scored this season (34). No club finished with more possession than Barcelona (72.0%) in Matchweek 1, and Flick’s possession-heavy, forward-thinking style will keep Galatasaray on their toes for the full 90 minutes. Cakir managed just two saves in the opener vs. Sporting, but the sheer volume hewill face vs. Barcelona will demand far more from the Turkish international.

Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League DFS Picks

POS Player OPP FPPG Salary
F K. Havertz ARS vs LIL 9.6 $8,900
F M. Thuram INT vs CLU 9.2 $7,200
M K. De Bruyne VIL vs NAP 9.2 $6,800
M J. Kimmich VIK vs BAY 10.4 $6,200
D J. Cancelo GAL vs BAR 4.4 $5,700
D A. Bastoni INT vs CLU 8.6 $4,500
GK S. Lammens ATL vs MU – $4,600
UTIL Pedri GAL vs BAR 8.6 $6,000

Kai Havertz (Arsenal, $8,900)

Kai Havertz has solidified himself as Arteta’s number one option at striker, even if the German international is playing slightly out of position. The 27-year-old has opened his fourth season with Arsenal with three goals across eight games, and delivered a strong cameo off the bench in just 17 minutes in Matchweek 1. Look for Arteta to start Havertz in this one, and for the German to inject life at the top of the formation against a Lille defense that has struggled domestically this season. Arsenal should have no trouble dominating possession against the Ligue 1 side, and Havertz should lead everything played into the center.

Marcus Thuram (Inter Milan, $7,200)

French ST Marcus Thuram has excelled in Inter Milan’s dual-striker system, as he and Argentine Lautaro Martinez have great chemistry at the top of the formation. Thuram and Inter Milan come into Tuesday as significant favorites over Club Brugge, and the Italian club will be desperate to pick up points at home after a tough 2-1 loss in Matchweek 1 to Real Madrid. Thurham has been in exceptional form since then, scoring two goals and adding two assists in three matches, including a goal in the first game back from the international break this past Saturday.  Look for Thuram and Inter Milan’s attack to build off this weekend’s 3-0 win in Serie A when they host Club Brugge on Tuesday.

Kevin De Bruyne (Napoli, $6,800)

At 35, Belgium legend Kevin De Bruyne continues to impress in the latter stages of his career. The former Manchester City superstar has adjusted easily to life in Serie A since moving to the Italian league in 2025. This season, De Bruyne has looked exceptionally strong in attack, and returned from an impressive international break for Belgium to a Brace in Napoli’s 3-0 win on Saturday. The attacking midfielder now has four goals combined in his last two games for both club and country, and comes into a tough matchup against one of La Liga’s toughest sides, Villarreal. Look for Napoli to ride De Bruyne’s hot hand in attack in a game that could be fairly low-scoring. Whether he plays as a deep playmaker or brings his shooting boots for the third straight game, Napoli will count on De Bruyne to lead them in a tough away fixture.

Joshua Kimmich (Bayern, $6,200)

Sticking to the trend of veteran midfielders, 31-year-old Joshua Kimmich is arguably one of the best at the moment. While the German international will never wow you with his G/A numbers, Kimmich has built his career on elite defensive instincts, winning possession for his team, and deep playmaking from the center-mid position. The Bayern legend has been exceptional in his first eight games across all competitions this season, despit only logging two assists in that span. Kimmich’s value in your lineup will come from his accurate passing, tackling, and interceptions, amongst the many other stats he racks up throughout a game. With Viking not expected to be much of a threat to the German giants, look for Kimmich to push higher up the pitch, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him contribute a goal when this one’s over.

João Cancelo (Barcelona, $5,700)

Portuguese LB has had a tremendous start to his second stint with Barcelona after leaving Saudi side Al-Hilal in the middle of last season. The former Manchester City superstar provides an exceptional attacking threat from his defense position, and has looked like the perfect LB option for Flick’s high line. Expect Cancelo to cover a lot of ground against a dangerous counter-attacking side in Galatasaray, though the Portuguese defender should have his fair share of attacking opportunities as well. Cancelo scored two goals for his country during the international break, and now has one goal and an assist in seven appearances for his club – with the assist coming in the Champions League win.

Alessandro Bastoni (Inter Milan, $4,500)

Italian CB Alessandro Bastoni has established himself as one of the world’s best defenders at just 27. He and Italy had an impressive international break, with the Inter Milan CB scoring only his fifth goal for his country in a draw against France. Milan rested Bastoni in their first game back from the break, and the star defender should now have fresh legs to take on Club Brugge on Tuesday. Look for Bastoni and Milan’s back three to push up in attack and build from the back, where Bastoni has shown his exceptional passing skills. The skilled defender becomes a big threat during set pieces, and the 6’3” Italian could keep up his goal-scoring form against the weaker side in this matchup.

Senne Lammens (Manchester Utd., $4,600)

Young Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens was arguably the best goalkeeper during the Nations League play this past international break, but has struggled to lead his team to wins in the club side. He had made 25 saves combined over his last five games for both club and country before United’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Saturday afternoon. The 24-year-old now has the perfect opportunity to bounce back against an aggressive Atletico Madrid side that often struggles to finish chances in their domestic league. Madrid dropped Matchweek 1 to fellow English Club Liverpool back in September, and with Lammens at the top of his game, United could certainly do the same. Atleti is scoring 2.2 goals per game on 6.5 shots per game in La Liga, and Lammens could certainly have success with his shot-stopping prowess in goal.

Pedri (Barcelona, $6,000)

Spanish star Pedri slots into our flex spot for Tuesday, with the young midfielder going to play a big role in possession against Galatasaray. The World Cup winner has been pivotal to Barca’s success this season and will continue to control the center of the pitch for his side. Look for Pedri to serve as the hub, moving the ball end to end, but also to be key defensively when Gala win the ball back and push it against Barca’s high line in transition. Like Kimmich, Pedri will never get multiple G/A in a game, but his presence is certainly felt in the middle of the pitch.
