Just one week after the well-received UFC 330 event, MMA’s biggest promotion returns with UFC Fight Night: Hernandez vs. Rodrigues. This weekend’s 13-fight card is headlined by a five-round middleweight bout between two top-15 contenders in the division.

A clash between Anthony Hernandez and Gregory Rodrigues is set for Saturday’s main event, with the UFC returning to Sacramento for the first time since 2019. Hernandez, the #6-ranked middleweight, is considered the slight favorite even after a tough loss to the current champion, Sean Strickland, earlier this year.

The co-main event is one of two heavyweight bouts on the main card and features two highly regarded fighters in the division, each looking to build toward their first title shot. The #6-ranked heavyweight, Serghei Spivac, takes on Brazilian striker Vitor Petrino, who enters as the slight favorite despite being unranked. With so much uncertainty at the top of the division, a victory for either fighter could propel them up the rankings, and possibly to a title shot within the next 1-2 years.

Now that you have some context for Saturday’s event, here are the best props on the card and the fighters worth targeting in your DFS lineups at UFC Fight Night: Hernandez vs. Rodrigues.

Anthony Wint vs. Terrance Chatman – Under 0.5 Total Rounds (+140)

The UFC may have just found its newest heavyweight star in 30-year-old Anthony Wint. Wint steps into his first official UFC bout just 11 days after earning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series. The former FIU football standout enters as the card’s biggest favorite at -1100 and will look to improve to 8-0 against fellow debutant Terrance Chatman, who arrives with just one career loss in six fights. Chatman has the power to trouble Wint but will struggle to contain the former linebacker’s explosiveness and athleticism.

Wint’s last three fights have lasted a combined one minute and 42 seconds. He has knocked out five of his seven opponents, with his last three stoppages averaging just 34 seconds. Under 0.5 total rounds gives him two and a half minutes to find the finish — which feels generous given his recent history. For slightly better value, “First Minute Finish: Yes” at +350 is another strong option. Wint, slightly undersized for the division, compensates with elite athleticism and a tendency to overwhelm opponents early. This one is unlikely to last two minutes.

Jamall Emmers vs. Lerryan Douglas – Lerryan Douglas to Win by KO/TKO/DQ in Round 1 (+110)

UFC veteran Jamall Emmers will look to extend his two-fight winning streak when he faces the dangerous Lerryan Douglas in a featherweight bout. Douglas arrives having won his last six fights in a row, all by knockout. The 31-year-old Brazilian earned his UFC contract with a win on Dana White’s Contender Series and followed it up with another knockout in his promotional debut back in March. With a 75.6% finish rate across his career, Douglas will look to add yet another early stoppage against a respected veteran in the division.

Emmers, who has struggled with consistency throughout his UFC career, will try to ground a fighter who may be the most dangerous newcomer in the featherweight division. The 37-year-old was knocked out in the first round in his most recent loss in 2024 and now faces a striker who has found the finish inside five minutes in back-to-back fights. Emmers has a tendency to overcommit with his striking, leaving himself open to counters — a habit that could prove costly against someone carrying Douglas’ knockout power. Expect this one to end inside the opening five minutes.

Reinier de Ridder vs. Roman Dolidze – Under 2.5 Total Rounds (+110)

Both Reinier de Ridder and Roman Dolidze look to bounce back from consecutive losses when they meet in the octagon on Saturday. The two veteran European fighters have had their share of exciting moments and finishes in the UFC but have both looked subdued in their last two appearances. With both men in their mid-to-late thirties, another loss could be costly in a light-heavyweight division increasingly stacked with exciting young talent.

De Ridder enters as a heavy favorite and certainly has the ground game to cause problems for the striker in Dolidze. The Georgian was submitted for the first time in his career last year and now faces a jiu-jitsu specialist with the tools to do it again. De Ridder has 13 career submission wins and built his early UFC reputation on dominant ground performances. While that remains the most likely path to victory, Dolidze — who carries eight career knockout wins — has the power to surprise his Dutch opponent if he can keep the fight on the feet. Regardless of how it plays out, two veterans desperate to reverse a two-fight slide should produce a finish well within the first 10 minutes.

Our DFS lineup for Saturday is headlined by Douglas, who could prove to be one of the most lucrative fighters on the card based on what we have seen from the Brazilian featherweight. The Gunslinger has lived up to his nickname with his run of knockout victories and will look to stay perfect in the UFC with another first-round finish against a veteran opponent. Douglas’ patient style, combined with heavy hands, is rare in the featherweight division, which is typically defined by blistering hand speed.

Hernandez saw his eight-fight winning streak come to an abrupt end against Strickland back in February. Prior to that loss, Fluffy had showcased his full arsenal while running through the middleweight division. The 32-year-old carries knockout power, an above-average submission game, and a world-class motor. He has shown the ability to absorb significant damage and keep coming forward, and now faces an opponent who has been knocked out in three of his four UFC losses since 2020. It may take time, but Hernandez has the tools to get the job done.

Petrino will look to ride his three-fight winning streak and take down one of the heavyweight division’s most underrated fighters in Spivac. The Moldovan veteran had dropped back-to-back fights before bouncing back in February and will struggle with the Brazilian’s athleticism. Petrino has already compiled some vicious knockouts early in his career and has the ground game to counter Spivac, who will look to keep this one on the mat.

Padilla returns to the octagon after a draw in his most recent fight back in April. The 30-year-old remains unbeaten across five UFC appearances, finishing three of his opponents along the way. He faces a Moroccan southpaw returning from a knockout loss last October. Padilla has nine career knockouts and should have the power to trouble Haqparast, who relies more on volume than finishing ability.

Bahraini heavyweight Shamil Gaziev returns following back-to-back knockout losses dating back to late last year. Despite that run, Gaziev earned his UFC spot on the strength of his extraordinary finishing ability, carrying an 85.7% finish rate across his 14 career victories. While he has struggled when faced with power in his last two fights, his grappling remains a significant weapon and will be his best tool against Kennedy Nzechukwu, whose most recent loss came by submission. Nzechukwu has also been away from the octagon for over eight months heading into Saturday.

One of the more entertaining fights of the evening features two young lightweights in Welsh fighter Mason Jones and MarQuel Mederos. Mederos will look to stay perfect in the UFC, having won his first four promotional bouts before drawing his most recent in April. He faces Jones, who has also won his first three UFC fights since joining the promotion last year.

While both fighters have shown finishing ability, this one could easily go the distance with high volume from both men. Mederos’ last four fights have all gone the full 15 minutes, while Jones has gone the distance in three of his last four. Look for Mederos to rack up a strong points total through his high-volume output.
