PGA Tour Golf Odds, Picks, Predictions: Final 2026 Texas Children’s Houston Open Betting Card, OAD
PGA Tour golf continues with Memorial Park Golf Course next on tap to host the 2026 Texas Children’s Houston Open in Houston, Texas, this Thursday. This week, Min Woo Lee, Chris Gotterup, and Jake Knapp headline among Texas Children’s Houston Open bets. John Haslbauer provides his favorite PGA Tour picks from the available golf odds. Below, you’ll find each player’s best odds at legal betting sites.
PGA Tour action is back, teeing off this Thursday at Memorial Park for the 2026 Texas Children’s Houston Open. With just two weeks separating us from the Masters, this challenging course will be the perfect tune-up spot for some of the game’s best who are prepping for Augusta.
Since Memorial Park took over as the host of this event in 2020, the formula for success has been pretty consistent. Consistent drivers with plus distance, elite long-iron players, and reliable scramblers in difficult scoring conditions have separated themselves here.
Let’s review all my bets for the 2026 Texas Children’s Houston Open.

How I Built My Texas Children’s Houston Open Betting Card
A Tuesday withdrawal from the prohibitive favorite, Scottie Scheffler, has shaken up the odds board quite a bit. Fortunately, some early Monday bets helped capitalize on some closing line value.
Without Scheffler, this is an event that feels open for the taking from many players who share the coveted skillsets of driving distance, long-iron approach play, and scrambling around firm and fast greens. I’ve built my betting card around value players who share these qualities in common.
With all of that in mind, it’s back to business as usual for my weekly stake at the Texas Children’s Houston Open:
- Outrights — 3.5U in to pay 25U each
- FRL — 0.5U in to pay out 10U+ each
- Full tournament matchups — 1U in to pay out 2U
- Props — 1.5U in to pay out 3U+ each
Texas Children’s Houston Open Bets: Outrights (3.5 Units)
Chris Gotterup
My Bet: +2450
Best Available Odds:
Already a winner at the Sony Open and WM Phoenix Open this season, Memorial Park is perhaps the best course fit we’ve seen for Gotterup’s game to date. Over its first five years hosting the Houston Open, Memorial Park has consistently rewarded those with plus driving distance who can consistently gain with their long irons, capitalize on Par 5 Scoring, and scramble for bogey avoidance. Gotterup ranks top-15 in each of those key stat categories.
A T18 finisher last year, Gotterup will look to follow Min Woo Lee’s footsteps as the second player to become a crossover winner at both The Renaissance Club and Memorial Park – both similar Tom Doak designs.
Brooks Koepka
My Bet: +2500
Best Available Odds:
I almost never bet Brooks Koepka. He always seems to be over-priced in Majors, or disinterested when playing standard PGA TOUR events. And yet, here I am again betting on Brooks for the second consecutive week.
Leading into the Valspar Championship, there were questions about the stability of his putting. Those questions were put to rest, as Koepka looked like his dominant self from fairway to green. The issue, however, was sparsely playing from the fairway, as Koepka battled an erratic driver over the weekend.
He’ll be in fine shape if that form persists into this week, as Memorial Park is one of the most forgiving courses for wayward drives on the PGA TOUR. Koepka has a special connection with Memorial Park, as he was brought on as a strategic advisor in the midst of Tom Doak’s 2019 redesign. He has a T5 under his belt at this event, and enters this week with three consecutive top-20 finishes.
Michael Thorbjornsen
My Bet: +3200
Best Available Odds:
Thorbjornsen’s elite driving distance will give him a leg up at Memorial Park, but it’s the rest of his tee-to-green form that has me excited about his prospects. Thorbjornsen is an above-average player around the greens, but faces the most trouble when playing from the bunkers. Memorial Park features the fewest bunkers on the PGA TOUR, which should be a welcome sight for him.
It’s also from long range where Thorbjornsen has separated most from the field with his approach play. He ranks top-15 in terms of Prox: 200+. He’ll look to start hot with four top-25 finishes over his last seven starts.
Wyndham Clark
My Bet: +6600
Best Available Odds:
Min Woo Lee continued a trend of crossover success between LACC and Memorial Park with his win last year. 2023 U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark would be a sensible name to perpetuate that narrative this week. Memorial Park features some of the most forgiving landing areas off the tee on the PGA TOUR, trading the value of driving accuracy for distance and long iron approach play. That plays to Clark’s strengths, as he ranks top-15 in Comp Course History, SG: Putting (Fast Greens), and SG: ARG.
A T5 finisher at this event last year with trending approach play leading in, Clark represents a great buy-low opportunity coming off of a missed cut at last week’s Valspar Championship.
Tony Finau
My Bet: +6600
Best Available Odds:
The 2023 Houston Open champion has demonstrated sticky course history at Memorial Park, following up his win with a T2 finish the next year. After a forgettable 2025 campaign, we’ve seen a far more improved version of Finau this season; he’s finished top-30 in four of his last six starts.
Finau has never been the most reliable putter, but he’s seen real improvements in that department after landing on a gamer he feels comfortable with. Putting aside, he’s been very consistent, gaining in terms of Driving Distance, SG: APP, and SG: ARG in five of his last six starts. If the iron play and short game remain sharp, this is a great discount spot on a proven course horse in Finau.
Sahith Theegala
My Bet: +9000
Best Available Odds:
I’m going back to the well with Theegala, whose odds have doubled since his missed cut at the Valspar Championship last week. Theegala is keeping busy, playing the TGL Finals through Tuesday, but is plenty familiar with Memorial Park as a former Houston resident.
Any course that disregards driving accuracy should feel appealing to Theegala backers. He’s proven his spike upside in terms of SG: APP, SG: ARG, and SG: P otherwise this season. One of the most imaginative players on the PGA TOUR around the green and on long iron approaches, this is an ideal course fit for Theegala, who enters with
Texas Children’s Houston Open Bets: First-Round Leader (0.5 Units)
Michael Thorbjornsen
My Bet: +5000
Best Available Odds:
It’s been a volatile start to the year for Thorbjornsen, who has demonstrated the best of golf and the worst of golf in seemingly every tournament he’s found himself in contention in. The ceiling performances he’s displayed, however, are worth chasing in the FRL market, as he’s proven to have the Distance and approach upside to find ample birdie opportunities at Memorial Park.
Pierceson Coody
My Bet: +5900
Best Available Odds:
It was the shoddy short game metrics that kept Coody off of my outright card, but I’m still very high on his upside and expect a solid week from the native Texan. Coody is a bomber in great approach form who will have the home crowd on his side in Houston.
Sudarshan Yellamaraju
My Bet: +8000
Best Available Odds:
Last we saw Yellamaraju, he finished his tournament at THE PLAYERS as the clubhouse leader, ultimately finishing 5th. Memorial Park is an even better fit for his game, as he ranks top-20 in this field in Driving Distance. If his ball-striking form persists, this is a great setup for him to keep the heater rolling.
Rasmus Neergaard Petersen
My Bet: +9000
Best Available Odds:
A top-20 player in my model this week, I’d like to see a little more consistent form before selecting him as an outright bet. Even still, Neergaard Petersen is a great profile fit for Memorial Park, ranking top-10 in SG: T2G, SG: APP, Par 5 Scoring, and Prox: 200+.
Aaron Rai
My Bet: +9000
Best Available Odds:
Aaron Rai continues to be an FRL staple, and while he may not fit the bomber narrative for Memorial Park, he makes up for it with elite long-iron approach play. Rai also checks the Tom Doak narrative, having won at my No. 1 comp course, The Renaissance Club, back in 2020.
Texas Children’s Houston Open Prop Bets (2.5 Units)
Full Tournament Matchup: Chris Gotterup over Jake Knapp
My Bet: -110
Gotterup continues to be one of the most disrespected and undervalued golfers in betting markets. A three-time winner over his last 15 starts, Gotterup has also demonstrated a high floor with just one missed cut over that span.
By contrast, he lines up against Jake Knapp in the head-to-head, who did not look like himself in his first start returning from a back injury. Knapp missed the cut last time we saw him at THE PLAYERS, losing an alarming 4 strokes on approach. Health concerns aside, I would grade this as a very balanced matchup. However, I need to see Knapp prove he is healthy again before I believe he’s more of a threat than Gotterup at this event.
Top-20 Finish: Sahith Theegala
My Bet: +250
Best Available Odds:
Theegala stole the show at the Sofi Center on Tuesday night. Assuming his TGL Championship celebrations don’t delay his travels to Houston, he is an ideal profile fit for Memorial Park, able to gain strokes consistently with his driving distance, long iron approaches, and short game.
Top-20 Finish: Tony Finau
My Bet: +300
Best Available Odds:
Things are trending well at the moment for Finau, who has four top-30 finishes over his last six starts. With a win and a T2 over his last three appearances at the Houston Open, I expect his trending form to continue this week.
One And Done
My Pick: Chris Gotterup
Gotterup was not a popular choice for either of his wins thus far on the season, as he remains 80%+ available in standard OAD leagues. Does he have a third win in 3 months in him? I would argue Memorial Park plays far better into his strengths than Wailae CC or TPC Scottsdale, where he picked up his first two wins this year.
Memorial Park is a Tom Doak design that bears tons in common with The Renaissance Club. Min Woo Lee added credence to that comp course narrative, becoming a cross-over winner last season, and Gotterup is positioned very well to follow suit.
If not Gotterup, I would also consider playing Brooks Koepka, Rickie Fowler, or Min Woo Lee in OAD.
