PGA Tour Golf Odds, Picks, Predictions: Final 2026 Valspar Championship Betting Card, OAD
PGA Tour golf continues with Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course next on tap to host the 2026 Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor, Florida, this Thursday. This week, Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Viktor Hovland headline among Valspar Championship bets. John Haslbauer provides his favorite PGA Tour picks from the available golf odds. Below, you’ll find each player’s best odds at legal betting sites.
PGA Tour action is back, teeing it up this Thursday at Innisbrook Resort for the 2026 Valspar Championship. The final event of the Florida Swing before the Tour heads west to Texas, this event has done a great job attracting big names to hang around in this PLAYERS Championship “hangover” spot.
Last year, we had the board surrounded, featuring both the winner, Viktor Hovland, and the runner-up, Justin Thomas, on the card. We’ll follow the same formula of Accuracy off the tee, proven experience scrambling in difficult conditions, and elite long iron play beyond 175 yards in search of a repeat winner.

How I Built My Valspar Championship Betting Card
The Copperhead Course is one of the most difficult challenges on the PGA TOUR schedule, and as such, should cater to the best all-around players in the field. Of course, there are surprise outliers along the way, like Peter Malnati, who caught a hot putter, but I’m of the belief that a proven star will win this week, so I’ve opted for a more concentrated betting card.
With all of that in mind, it’s back to business as usual for my weekly stake at the Valspar Championship:
- Outrights — 3.5U in to pay 25U each
- FRL — 0.5U in to pay out 10U+ each
- Full tournament matchups — 1U in to pay out 2U
- Props — 1.5U in to pay out 3U+ each
Valspar Championship Bets: Outrights (3.5 Units)
Viktor Hovland
My Bet: +1900
Best Available Odds:
Course History is repeatable at the Valspar Championship, with four multi-winners over its 29-year history on the PGA TOUR. Hovland also has a penchant for repeatable success as a two-time winner of both the World Wide Technologies Championship and Hero World Challenge.
Hovland’s form could not have been worse leading up to this event last year, prevailing at 80-1 pre-tournament odds on the heels of three consecutive missed cuts leading up. His odds have quartered since then, and with due cause. He’s posted three top-15 finishes over his first five starts of the 2026 season, and seems to be in complete control of both his ball striking and short game at the moment.
Brooks Koepka
My Bet: +3000
Best Available Odds:
I almost never bet Brooks Koepka. He always seems to be over-priced in Majors, or disinterested when playing standard PGA TOUR events. 2026, of course, is different for Brooks. He has to fight and claw his way back into the biggest non-Major events of the year, and has plenty to prove in his return to the PGA TOUR.
The ball striking already looks on par with prime Brooks levels, ranking 4th in the field in terms of SG: APP at THE PLAYERS last week. The skillsets that have led to Brooks’ dominance in Majors are all just as important at the Copperhead Course, which places a premium on total driving, long iron approach play, and scrambling. Koepka has finished in the top 15 in each of his last two starts and seems to finally be turning a corner with his putting.
Sahith Theegala
My Bet: +4000
Best Available Odds:
At first pass researching this week’s field, I glossed over Theegala as a potential contender. As the dust settled from THE PLAYERS, however, he’s really started to grow on me in this spot. Theegala is coming in hot off a TGL Semifinal victory, continuing his renaissance 2026 campaign. He’s made the cut in each of his first seven starts of the year, including three top-10s over that stretch.
Theegala is at his best on positional, less-than-driver courses that concentrate on approaches from long distance and scrambling. He has five top-5 finishes on comp courses over the last three years between the RBC Heritage, Travelers Championship, and RSM Classic. The results have been there for Sahith at the Valspar Championship too; he’s finished T7 and T36 in his first two appearances.
Ryo Hisatsune
My Bet: +4200
Best Available Odds:
For the first time in Hisatsune’s career, he will carry the weight of the golf betting industry behind him, as he figures to be one of the most popular bets of the week. His number opened beyond 50/1 and has settled on some sportsbooks as short as 28/1. The severe line movement was a direct result of Hisatsune being featured as my Spotlight Player in this week’s tournament preview. Just kidding. But the signs do point very clearly in his favor.
Hisatsune burst onto the scene on the PGA TOUR at this event last year, where he finished T4. He’s quickly become one of the hottest players on TOUR since then in 2026, with four top-15 finishes over his first six starts of the year. Histatsune has been a model of consistency from the tee to green over that span, ranking top-5 in the category amongst this field. The 23-year-old has already proven he can win at the professional level with a victory on the DP World Tour in 2023.
Billy Horschel
My Bet: +12500
Best Available Odds:
Florida’s favorite golfer, Horschel’s resumé of 8 career PGA TOUR wins feels empty without a victory in his home state. That hasn’t been from a lack of opportunities, however, as he ranks top-10 in the field in terms of total strokes gained in Florida over the last five years.
His best results at the Valspar Championship have come recently, finishing T4 and T12 in his two latest appearances. He’ll look to build on some positive momentum from his last start at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, where he finished T13.
Zac Blair
My Bet: +25000
Best Available Odds:
It’s not every week you’ll find the No. 1 player in the field in terms of SG: APP available at odds this long. That is what we have here with Zac Blair, however, who flies in under the radar with three top-10 finishes over his last four PGA TOUR starts.
Blair is one of the shortest hitters on TOUR, but atones for it with elite long-iron approach prowess. Copperhead’s many forced layups, collection of five par-3s, and a couple of 3-shot par-5s create a pathway for shorter hitters to hang around as long as their long irons and putting cooperate. That was the formula for Peter Malnati in 2024, and Blair has the tools to follow in those footsteps this week.
Kevin Streelman
My Bet: +75000
Best Available Odds:
The veteran picked up one of his two career PGA TOUR wins at this event back in 2013, and has finished top-30 in each of his last three appearances here. Streelman’s putting has been volatile throughout his long career, but he’s found a real groove in 2026, gaining on the greens in each of his last five starts.
Streelman is at his best on strategic positional courses that reward a thoughtful approach. That is the Copperhead Course in a nutshell, so it’s no surprise to see Streelman rank top-25 in the field in both Course History and Comp Course History. Fresh off a T8 finish in his latest start at the Puerto Rico Open, he’s shown he may still have enough in the tank to contend here again.
Valspar Championship Bets: First-Round Leader (0.5 Units)
Aaron Rai
My Bet: +5000
Best Available Odds:
Regardless of the circumstance, I will always bet on Aaron Rai FRL, but this is an ideal setup for his game. Rai is elite in driving accuracy and long-iron approach play, two premium skill sets to bring to the Copperhead Course. He’s had the chance to get a few extra days of prep in as well after a surprise missed cut last week.
Alex Smalley
My Bet: +5000
Best Available Odds:
There’s no doubt about Alex Smalley’s talent; the question is where he can piece four rounds together and handle the pressure of winning. That’s not a concern of mine in the FRL market, as we’ve seen Smalley string along birdies with ease. The Duke graduate should have an extra pep in his step as March Madness looms, and he’s always proven to play is best golf on familiar Bermuda greens.
Taylor Moore
My Bet: +7000
Best Available Odds:
Moore was the dreaded last man left off my outright card, which tends to be a good sign for a great week. It’s a comfort course for the 2023 Valspar champion, and he’s started to look like his old self of late. He’ll look to build on finishes of T2, T44, and T50 thus far on the Florida Swing.
David Ford
My Bet: +7000
Best Available Odds:
We are monitoring the situation on David Ford as a potential evergreen FRL play. The king of the psycho scorecard, it’s often not a question of whether he can make enough birdies, but if he can keep enough bogeys off the card to pay off a FRL bet. He’s one of the streakiest iron players in this field and has finished T16 in two of his last five starts.
Kevin Streelman
My Bet: +12500
Best Available Odds:
One of the standout values on the board this week, Streelman has the putter working for him and went low in his most recent start, where he finished T8 in Puerto Rico. It’s a comfort course for Streelman as well, returning to the site of his first career PGA TOUR victory back in 2012.
Valspar Championship Prop Bets (2.5 Units)
Full Tournament Matchup: Corey Conners over J.J. Spaun
My Bet: -100
Conners and Spaun are two players who profile very similarly. Each hit the ball on a string and thrives on positional venues that reward accurate ball striking. That should, in theory, translate to success at the Valspar Championship for both; however, it’s Conners who holds the significant edge in Course History. Conners has finished top-25 in each of his first three appearances at this event, whereas Spaun has just a T27 and three missed cuts over his four starts here.
Recent form also favors Conners in this matchup, as Spaun has just one finish inside the top-40 so far this season.
Top-40 Finish: Zac Blair
My Bet: +225
Best Available Odds:
The underlying metrics for Blair may be too good to be true, as this longshot ranks No. in SG: APP, and top-5 in Proximity: 175+ with three top-10 finishes over his last four starts. The Valspar Championship poses a more stern test than he’s seen in recent weeks, but it’s a great profile fit for his game.
Top-20 Finish: Billy Horschel
My Bet: +430
Best Available Odds:
Featuring some of the truest and most pure Bermuda greens we see all season, the Valspar Championship has become a haven for Bermuda purists to pop. Coming off a solid top-15 finish in his last start at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which was propelled by his putter, I see a similar pathway for Horschel to contend this week by leaning on his short game.
One And Done
My Pick: Viktor Hovland
There’s no way around it, Collin Morikawa’s withdrawal last week from the highest-purse event of the season, as the consensus most selected player in One And Done, has put us in a hole. This week, I feel confident that a top-tier favorite is going to be in the mix come Sunday, and last year’s champion, Viktor Hovland, is the player I have the least questions about.
Hovland is in significantly improved form since this time last year, and has the consistent ball-striking profile I’m looking for in a contender at the Valspar Championship.
If not Hovland, I would also consider playing Brooks Koepka, Xander Schauffele, or Ryo Hisatsune in OAD.
