It was a big offseason for the Reds, who added a lot of pieces to what was an exciting roster before. Adding Mike Moustakas and Nick Castellanos gives them a big power bat from both sides of the plate. This is already in addition to having Eugenio Suarez and Aristides Aquino, who were big power bats in 2019. Joey Votto had a down year, and a bounce back season is needed to give the Reds steady production at an important position. Cincinnati also signed Shogo Akiyama, and their outfield has become a bit of a logjam because Jesse Winker could easily be starting on teams, and he looks to be the odd man out. The Reds were one of the best pitching teams in 2019, and they have a three headed monster of their own with Luis Castillo, Sonny Gray, and Trevor Bauer. This will be an exciting rotation to watch throughout the season.
