NFL Wild Card Weekend kicks off with a matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the Carolina Panthers. Although Carolina is hosting the game, the Rams are favored by more than 10 points, making them comfortable favorites to advance.
The Panthers won the NFC South but finished the regular season at 8-9. The Rams ended the year 12-5, one of the best records in the league, though it was not enough to win the NFC West. It is rare to see a road team favored in the playoffs, let alone by this margin.
This may not be the most competitive game on the slate, but there should be plenty of scoring. That gives us several opportunities to cash NFL anytime touchdown scorer bets. Let’s find some winners.

The total is set at , with the touchdown prop market listing 5.5 total touchdowns. Both numbers are slightly higher than average, which reflects the Rams’ offensive upside in this matchup.
Los Angeles should be able to move the ball with ease against a Carolina defense that has struggled throughout the season. On the other side, while the Rams are strong up front defensively, injuries in the secondary have made them more vulnerable through the air. That creates some opportunity for the Panthers, who have a capable group of pass catchers and a quarterback who has played better at home.

Despite the Panthers’ defensive struggles, opposing offenses have found success spreading the ball around rather than leaning on a single position group. With the Rams heavily favored, most of their primary offensive weapons are priced aggressively in the anytime touchdown market.
That creates value elsewhere, and Colby Parkinson stands out. He finished the regular season second on the team in red zone targets and second in end zone targets. While Puka Nacua and Davante Adams are the top receiving threats, defenses naturally devote extra attention to them, which opens up opportunities for secondary options near the goal line.
At his current price, Colby Parkinson is a strong anytime touchdown bet.
NFL Anytime Touchdown Pick: Tetairoa McMillan
The Rams have consistently built early leads this season, forcing opponents into pass-heavy game scripts. That trend should continue here given the point spread.
Carolina’s offense has been at its best through the air, and they will likely need to lean on that strength to stay competitive. Because the Rams are such heavy favorites, we are getting an appealing number on the Panthers’ top wide receiver, Tetairoa McMillan.
McMillan led the team in targets, red zone targets, and end zone targets during the regular season. His size and catch radius make him a natural touchdown threat, especially in a game where Carolina is expected to throw often. At these odds, Tetairoa McMillan is well worth a look as an anytime touchdown scorer.
