The 2026 NBA Play-In Tournament rolls on with a battle between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers. The winner advances to the next play-in game against either Phoenix, while the loser is eliminated from the postseason and in the lottery.

Los Angeles won three of four matchups this season, including the regular season finale. Which team keeps its postseason hopes alive?

Warriors vs. Clippers Betting Analysis

It has been a chaotic season for the Warriors. They lost Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody to season-ending injuries, Stephen Curry missed 39 games, and the Jonathan Kuminga saga persisted until the trade deadline.

Golden State must now win a pair of play-in games just to reach the playoffs. Can Curry go nuclear and drag the Warriors to the first round? The 38-year-old averaged 26.6 points per game this season on 63.7% true shooting, so he’s still a bona fide superstar. Supplemental scoring from Kristaps Porzingis and Brandin Podziemski is also a necessity for Golden State to advance, along with Draymond Green turning back the clock defensively.

Los Angeles began the season with a 6-21 record before Kawhi Leonard stabilized the ship. He averaged 29.9 points per game on 50/41/88 shooting splits from Dec. 20 to the Feb. 5 trade deadline, and the Clippers went 17-6 during this stretch.

Swapping James Harden for Darius Garland at the trade deadline looks like a masterstroke. Garland has averaged 19.9 points and 6.4 assists per game on 60.2% true shooting since the transaction, and Los Angeles outscored opponents by 20.4 points per 100 possessions with Leonard and Garland on the court together.

As for the best bet, it’s taking Curry to lead the game in made threes. Golden State needs him to be a gunner in this matchup, and Los Angeles’ defense is vulnerable to pull-up triples with Brook Lopez in drop coverage. Curry also averaged a career-high 13.2 three-point attempts per 75 possessions this season and shot 39.3% from deep.
