We’ll probably lean towards the NRFI hitting in this one, with the Guardians seeing the NRFI hit in its last six road games when playing as underdogs. The Under has also hit in seven straight meetings when playing in Cincinnati, although the Over has hit in five of six meetings (all played in Cleveland however). The safest bet is the Cleveland run line, covering in four of five games against Cincinnati along with a 62-33 record as an underdog.
Cleveland to cover +1.5-runs is a bit expensive at -140, though, and are currently on a five-game losing streak after failing to score a single run against Tampa Bay on Sunday – despite a leadoff double from Steven Kwan. This does seem like a good bounce back spot for Cleveland, though, as the Reds have lost seven of eight home games as favorites when coming off a win. Also, Cleveland has won three of the last four meetings. The NRFI remains our better bet of the two, however.
