Best Bet: U52.5 (-110) at DraftKings

Score Prediction: Delaware 28, Missouri State 24

The Pick: Delaware 28, Missouri State 24

We’ll take the Under for a variety of different data points explained below.

Game Betting Analysis

It’s hard not to take the Under here for many reasons, let’s start with the 2026 data, each team entering with a 2-4 O/U record this season. Delaware at home this season has gone Under the point total in all three games, averaging nine points less than the line at 43 points per home game. The Blue Hens Under at home has hit in four of five as well. Delaware has a few data points to consider, winning five of six outright at home while seeing the favorite cover four straight games inside Delaware Stadium.

Missouri State-Delaware Odds (Spread, Moneyline, Over/Under)

Deciding Factor: Missouri State’s Balanced October Pedigree vs. Delaware’s Minicucci-to-Wilson Dependency

Missouri State arrives red-hot off a walk-off win over Kennesaw State in which first-time starter Henry Belin IV threw for a career-high 300 yards and two touchdowns on 28-of-39 passing, spreading the ball to a receiving corps led by Isaiah Myers, who paces all of Conference USA in receiving yards (554), yards per game (92.3) and touchdowns (5) after a 7-catch, 135-yard, 2-TD outing last week, and Jmariyae Robinson, who just broke the school’s career receptions record and sits only 287 yards from the program’s all-time receiving mark. The defense carries its own identity through linebacker Jared Lloyd, the nation’s leading tackler at 70 total stops with four straight double-digit tackle games, backed by corners Joel Kpassou and Joel Boamah, who both rank top-two in Conference USA in passes defended per game. The Bears also bring real situational history into this one, sitting 4-1 in nationally televised weekday Conference USA games and 9-2 in their last 10 October contests, a trend that lines up squarely with a Tuesday night trip to Newark.

Delaware, meanwhile, is leaning almost entirely on the connection between quarterback Nick Minicucci, who threw for 3,683 yards and 23 touchdowns a season ago, the second-most passing yardage in the FBS, and receiver Sean Wilson, who delivered a 185-yard, two-touchdown performance in a September win over Coastal Carolina. But the results since have been shaky: the Blue Hens were shut out 3-42 at Virginia, dropped a 14-30 decision to Liberty, and let a winnable game slip away in a 30-33 loss at Middle Tennessee last week, leaving them 0-2 in conference play and losers in four of their last five. If Missouri State’s defense, already among the nation’s stingiest through Lloyd and a secondary that thrives on takeaways, can take Wilson away as the first read, Delaware hasn’t shown this season that it has a reliable second option to turn to.
