Home Run Prop Predictions & Odds: MLB HR Best Bets for Thursday, October 15th
Jose Ramirez Home Run Odds
Ramírez is working through a down power year by his standards, with 12 home runs in 2026, but 7 of them have come against right-handed pitching, and he’s already delivered on the game’s biggest stage this October with the two-run homer that forced ALDS Game 5. The bigger factor tonight is Jax himself: he’s making his first career postseason start after working almost exclusively in relief this season, hasn’t thrown more than five innings in an outing since late July, and the uncertainty around how deep he goes opens the door for Cleveland’s best hitter to see pitches from a staff still finding its footing.
Junior Caminero Home Run Odds
Caminero enters Thursday’s series-tying opportunity as one of the hottest power bats in the sport, having hit 42 home runs this season. Against right-handed pitching specifically — exactly what he’ll see from Gavin Williams — he’s hitting .272 with 34 of those homers and a .536 slugging percentage. Williams has actually been more hittable against righties than lefties in 2026 (.727 OPS allowed with a 4.7% home-run rate, compared to .621/3.1% vs. lefties), and while Progressive Field ranks in the bottom third of MLB parks for home runs, Caminero’s power this year has traveled anywhere he’s played.
Teoscar Hernandez Home Run Odds
This is the cleanest matchup of the four. Drohan has allowed all 14 of his home runs this season to right-handed batters — zero to lefties — and Hernández, a righty, brings a postseason résumé few hitters can match: nine career home runs as a Dodger in October, a home run in six straight playoff series dating back to 2024, and a perfect 7-0 team record in games he’s gone deep. He’ll also get to do it at Dodger Stadium, which led all of MLB in home runs from 2020-2025. Drohan is a rookie making his postseason debut and is unlikely to work deep into the game, which should give Hernández a clean look early.
Brice Turang Home Run Odds
Turang has quietly turned into a real power threat against right-handed pitching, hitting .291 with 18 of his 21 home runs this season against arms like Glasnow’s. He’s also already proven he can handle this exact Dodgers staff, delivering the game-tying, opposite-field home run off Tarik Skubal in Game 1 — and unlike several of his teammates, he hasn’t gone deep since, so there’s no same-game repeat-performance question hanging over the pick. Glasnow is the toughest pitcher either lineup will face tonight, but Turang gives Milwaukee’s lineup its best shot at solving him.
