Nationals vs. Braves MLB Game Betting Analysis

This should be a fun series featuring two of the best lineups in baseball. Let’s start with the run line, something the Braves have failed to cover in eight straight games as favorites while the Nats own an impressive 21-6 run line record when playing as a road underdog and coming off a loss. Washington has also covered the run line in three straight games, so while the Nationals’ RL price is too expensive, we can hold off on the Braves to cover as favorites here.

While Atlanta has hit the Over in nine of 10 home games, four of the last five home games for Atlanta has actually gone Under the total when facing Washington. Washington has also seen eight total runs or less in five of seven games. So the total is a bit murky when looking at the data. The moneyline belongs to the road team, winning four of the last five meetings between Washington and Atlanta. However, Atlanta has won seven straight at home when coming off a road win.

While the popular markets are tricky to nail down, some player props might be worth a look – notably Michael Harris. He has quietly produced an RBI in a remarkable 10 of 11 home games, which has (low) plus-value to consider. With the popular markets difficult to select from, we’ll reluctantly go to the prop market, which is rare.

If you fancy the popular markets still, then taking a shot on Washington to win outright (road team data) or the Over (Braves current 9-1 Over run at home) is probably your best bet, but Harris to record an RBI will be our take in a rather difficult game to wager on.
