The Red Sox seemed dead in the water a few months ago, but went on a huge winning streak before the All-Star break and now find themselves on a six game winning streak when playing as a road underdog. It’s very difficult to go against Boston right now, even against the big-bad Dodgers. Boston has actually won its last four meetings against Los Angeles, the last three as an underdog and has won an insane 22 of 25 games overall. Boston is back, needless to say.

All of this obviously warrants the Red Sox winning at plus-money, so we’ll go with that and put in our back pocket. The Under might be a good play for total bettors, hitting in four of five meetings along with seven of eight games for the Red Sox. Los Angeles has also seen at least one team score four runs or less in seven of eight games.
