UFC 333: Volkanovski vs. Evloev is finally here, and the MMA world will be tuned in for one of the year’s most anticipated cards. The second numbered event of October features two championship bouts — Petr Yan defending his bantamweight title for the first time in a rematch with Merab Dvalishvili in the co-main event, and Alexander Volkanovski doing the same against Movsar Evloev in the main event. UFC 333 takes place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, the second and final card in the UAE capital this year.

The 14-fight card begins Saturday morning due to the time difference, with early prelims kicking off at 10 a.m. ET. Here are the best props and DFS picks to keep in mind for UFC 333: Volkanovski vs. Evloev:

Aaron Pico vs. Losene Keita – Losene Keita ML (+120)

After a disappointing UFC debut back in March, highly regarded Belgian prospect Losene Keita returned to the octagon in September and picked up his first promotional win in emphatic fashion. Now just over a month later, Keita is back in action, this time facing his first ranked opponent in Aaron Pico, in a flyweight bout that opens the main card. The 28-year-old knockout artist enters as a slight underdog in his third UFC fight against Pico, who picked up his first UFC win in his only outing of the year back in April.

Pico, a career-long Bellator fighter, also arrived in the UFC with considerable hype but was quickly humbled by Lerone Murphy, losing by first-round KO in his debut last August. The 30-year-old has shown chin issues multiple times throughout his career, with four of his five professional losses coming by KO/TKO. Keita brings a power level most flyweights aren’t used to, and he could certainly find an early finish against Pico, given the latter’s history against strikers. The Belgian prospect picked up his 11th career win by KO back in September and has now knocked out three of his last five opponents heading into Saturday. With a top-15 ranking likely on the line, look for Keita to build on his momentum and pick up a second straight finish in the UFC.

Abus Magomedov vs. Cam Rowston – Under 1.5 Total Rounds (+140)

Accomplished MMA veteran Abus Magomedov continues to hold his own in the middleweight division at 36, picking up his fifth UFC win earlier this year with a first-round submission of Michal Oleksiejczuk back in June. The German mixed martial artist now has 22 career finishes and will take on exciting UFC newcomer Cam Rowston on Saturday morning. Rowston finally earned his shot in the promotion after a successful second appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2025 and has won three straight to open his UFC tenure, entering as a slight underdog against the German veteran.

Rowston arrives on a seven-fight winning streak, with his last loss coming in his first Contender Series appearance. Before that, the Australian had been unbeaten since 2018 and carries an impressive finishing record alongside his 15 professional victories. Three of his last four wins have come inside 1.5 rounds, a trend that mirrors Magomedov’s last two fights as well. With both fighters capable of ending a bout on the feet or on the mat, this one should not last long — expect one of the two to gain the upper hand and secure a finish before the midway point of Round 2.

Azamat Murzakanov vs. Dominick Reyes – Fight to Start Round 2: No (+120)

The final prelim of the night features two veteran light heavyweights, Azamat Murzakanov and Dominick Reyes, in a bout that could end quickly. While both fighters went to Round 3 in their most recent outings, each finished their opponent in the first round in their two prior fights. Both men have long histories of knockout wins throughout their professional careers, and the 37-year-old Murzakanov is a slight favorite to add another against former title challenger Reyes.

Reyes brings a significant physical advantage with a 5-inch height edge and a 5.5-inch reach advantage over his Russian opponent. However, the toll of a long career appears to be catching up with him. The 36-year-old has now been knocked out five times in the last six years and faces a fighter coming off his first professional loss earlier this year. Before that April defeat, Murzakanov knocked out six of his first seven opponents in the promotion. Both men clearly have the power to end the fight early, and whoever lands the first clean shot could have their hand raised shortly after.

Lone’er Kavanagh ($7,900)

Our DFS lineup for Saturday features several betting underdogs who could still put forth strong performances even in a losing effort. The first is Lone’er Kavanagh, who enters as a pick ’em slight underdog, depending on the book. The English flyweight will look to return to winning ways against Uzbekistan prospect Ramazan Temirov, who has taken the division by storm. Kavanagh arrives as the higher-ranked fighter despite losing two of his last three fights. The speedy striker should be able to keep this one on the feet and generate the kind of volume we have come to expect from him — he logged 97 significant strikes in a five-round bout against Brandon Moreno earlier this year. He faces a dangerous knockout artist in Temirov, who has won his first three UFC fights, with two coming by KO, but Kavanagh’s boxing style and head movement should keep him safe and let him counter effectively. This should be a high-energy fight, and Kavanagh has the tools to win a round or two and potentially take the whole thing.

Losene Keita ($7,900)

We already broke down Keita as a solid underdog for Saturday’s card, and with good reason. The Belgian featherweight will be looking for a second straight first-round KO against Pico, and doing so would be especially valuable at a salary below $8,000. His KO win in September was his sixth first-round finish in his career, out of 11 career knockouts. The 28-year-old tends to come out of the gate aggressively and should be able to hurt Pico early before landing the finishing shot.

Merab Dvalishvili ($7,400)

Dvalishvili is yet another underdog we are backing on Saturday, with the former bantamweight champion looking to reclaim the title from the man who took it from him last December. The Georgian successfully defended his belt three times after beating Sean O’Malley for it in 2024, using elite grappling and cardio. Two of his three title defenses came by unanimous decision, with Dvalishvili showcasing his relentless pressure across five rounds on multiple occasions during his impressive reign. Yan neutralized that seemingly impenetrable game plan with his takedown defense and elite striking. Now, nearly 11 months removed from that fight, we back Dvalishvili to return to what earned him the title and control this fight across all five rounds, as he has many times before.

Iasmin Lucindo ($9,200)

Brazilian strawweight Iasmin Lucindo enters Saturday as one of the card’s biggest favorites, opening the event against fellow Brazilian Niccole Caliari. Caliari picked up her first UFC win after dropping her first two promotional appearances and now faces the more experienced Lucindo, who has 18 professional wins at just 24, including a victory over Angela Hill late last year. Lucindo is now 5-2 in the UFC, with most of her victories coming by unanimous decision. She should accumulate the bulk of her DFS points through striking output and control time.

Asaf Chopurov ($9,500)

Exciting bantamweight prospect Asaf Chopurov enters tied as the biggest betting favorite on the card despite making his UFC debut this weekend. The 24-year-old arrives with a perfect 11-0 record, having finished 10 of his 11 opponents. He faces another young prospect in Colby Thicknesse, who is 9-1 in his career and 2-1 in the UFC, with all three UFC bouts going the distance. That streak is unlikely to continue against a finisher as versatile as Chopurov, who can attack in so many different ways. His 10 career finishes are split evenly — five by KO and five by submission. He should get to pick his method and close this one out early for maximum value at his price point.

Movsar Evloev ($8,000)

Our final underdog/pick ’em for UFC 333 is the main event title challenger Evloev. The undefeated Russian will look to dethrone one of the all-time greats in the featherweight division, a champion with just four losses across 32 professional fights. The 38-year-old reclaimed the title against Diego Lopes after losing it to Ilia Topuria in 2024 and has since made one successful defense heading into Saturday. Evloev finally gets his title shot after going 12-0 to start his UFC career, with every win coming by decision. The freestyle wrestler, known for his grappling and training under several BJJ specialists at American Top Team, will look to drag this one to the mat and dominate the champion with control time and submission attempts across five rounds. While that style is not always popular with fans, it has kept Evloev undefeated and translates extremely well to DFS scoring, where control time carries significant point value.
