Game Betting Analysis
We’ve hit the first three games in the total market, so it’s hard to sway from the data that has worked thus far in which the Under hits in Golden State but that flips inside State Farm Arena. Inside the artist formerly known as ‘The Highlight Factory’ thanks to Joe Johnson, Josh Smith and others, that nickname might be brought back with the current core for the Dream where the Over has hit in eight of 10 games to average a whopping 183.8 points per game this season. So while the Under has hit in six of eight meetings, the Over has actually now hit in three of four meetings in Atlanta. A highlight factory indeed? Well, Atlanta has also now covered the spread in nine straight games while winning outright as the favorite. Golden State has still won four of six meetings, so we still have reservations about the winner markets, but with the points scored and success and playmaking from Atlanta it’s hard not to take them and welcome back a new era of Atlanta’s highlight factory.

Valkyries vs. Dream Odds (Spread, Moneyline, Over/Under)
Deciding Factor: Angel Reese’s Historic Double-Double Streak vs. Gabby Williams’ Lingering Knee Injury
Atlanta takes a 2-1 series lead and home-court advantage into Game 4 behind an Angel Reese stretch that’s been nothing short of dominant, with the forward recording three straight double-doubles, including 21 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals on efficient 7-of-12 shooting (2-of-2 from three) in Saturday’s 97-71 Game 3 blowout, following a 20-point, double-digit-rebound effort in Game 2 where she repeatedly demanded the ball and helped force 35 Dream free-throw attempts. That individual dominance has come alongside real offensive balance, with seven different Dream players scoring at least seven points in Game 3 as Atlanta shot 49.3% from the field and 9-of-22 from three, and as a 4.5-point home favorite with a 153.5 total, that combination of a historically hot star and a deep supporting cast is the clearest driving force in this series right now.
Golden State, meanwhile, has seen its only real offensive engine compromised since early in Game 1, when Gabby Williams scored 26 points to steal that opener before a Jordin Canada collision on a box-out left her limping in the final minutes; she stayed in and hit the go-ahead free throws, but her production has cratered since, with just 14 points on 3-of-15 shooting in Game 2 and 15 points on 5-of-18 in Game 3, her two least efficient performances of the entire postseason. Williams insists she’s fine, but the drop-off lines up directly with the injury, and the counterweight for Golden State is that its bench has shown signs of life, with Tiffany Hayes and Janelle Salaün combining for 27 points off the bench in Game 3. If Williams’ knee allows any real bounce-back and that bench scoring continues, the Valkyries have a conditional path to stealing Game 4 on the road and pushing this series to a fifth game.
