We have a second straight two-game slate on tap Thursday night, one that kicks off with a Valkyries-Liberty showdown in New York that is followed by a Mystics-Mercury rematch as the nightcap.

Breanna Stewart (NYL) – Over Rebounds
Stewart is having another fine season across the stat sheet, and after dipping below 7.0 rebounds per game last season for the first time in her long career, she’s pulling down 8.1 boards per contest in 2026. Along the way, Stewart has 10 double-digit rebounding tallies, and she’s averaging a robust 8.3 rebounds per game across 31.7 minutes in 18 home contests.
Stewart already has one nine-rebound effort in two prior meetings against the Valkyries this season. Golden State has conceded the seventh-most rebounds per game to forwards (13.9), and the third-most total rebounds per road game (44.4). Stewart has a very impressive hit rate on the eight-rebound threshold this season as well, going 23-14 (62.0%) to the Over on the 7.5
boards. Finally, it’s worth noting the Valkyries have surrendered WNBA-low 41.2% shooting on the road, which should set Stewart up for some opportunities on the offensive glass.

Sonia Citron (WAS) – Over Points + Assists
Citron has shown marked improvement as both a scorer and facilitator after what was already an impressive rookie 2025 campaign, putting up a full 2.0 points more per game (16.9, compared to 14.9 last season) and 4.3 assists (2.4 per game in ‘25). She comes into Thursday boasting a streak of 15 consecutive double-digit scoring tallies as well, a span where she’s averaging 21.9 points + assists per contest while shooting 48.8%, including 42.6% from behind the arc.
Citron posted 28 points + assists on 50.0% shooting against the Mercury in the first game of this back-to-back set between the teams Tuesday. She also had 25 points + assists in the first meeting with Washington on Aug. 9, and Phoenix is now allowing the third-most points (48.1) and second-most assists (15.0) per game to guards. The Mercury is also surrendering the fourth-highest shooting percentage at home (46.7%), including WNBA-high 36.1% three-point shooting.

Alyssa Thomas (PHO) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Thomas came through for us Tuesday, posting 22 points + rebounds over 31 minutes in the first game of the back-to-back against the Mystics. She also dished out 10 assists in that game, which helps support the notion of going back to the well Thursday in the same matchup, and this time rolling with her full points + rebounds + assists wager.
Thomas has at least nine assists in four straight games as well, a span where she’s shooting a crisp 57.1%. Meanwhile, the Mystics are allowing 43.9 points + rebounds + assists per contest to forwards, and Thomas checks in averaging 34.5 points + rebounds + assists while shooting 54.1% across 34.8 minutes per contest in the last 11 games.
