We have an unusual two-game slate Saturday, as the Sky-Liberty battle in the Big Apple tips off at 1:00 p.m. ET and the we don’t get our nightcap until the Tempo and Mercury clash beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Jonquel Jones (NYL) – Over Points + Rebounds
Attacking the Sky with centers has been a fairly prudent betting strategy this season, and we’ll follow suit Saturday with this prop for Jones, who comes into the day averaging 25.0 points + rebounds across 26.6 minutes per contest in her last 10 games. That robust figure even factors in an injury-shortened six-minute outing against Chicago on Aug. 18, when Jones rolled her ankle and had to exit in the first half.
The Sky have allowed Jones 25.5 points + rebounds on 55.6% shooting in the two games Jones has played a normal amount of minutes against them. Chicago also checks in surrendering the fourth-most rebounds per game to centers (9.7), as well as 47.3% shooting to the position. Then, Jones is also averaging 25.1 points + rebounds per home game this season, and Chicago is conceding a league-high 46.2 total rebounds per road contest.

Kahleah Copper (PHX) – Over Points
Copper is probable for Saturday’s game due to her ankle issue, and she enters her favorable matchup against the Tempo averaging an impressive 22.9 points on 49.8% shooting over her last 15 games. Copper’s usage has been through the roof in that span, as she’s putting up a combined 22.8 field-goal + free-throw attempts per contest during the sample. Copper has a pair of 35+ point outings in her last three games as well, and the Tempo has already conceded one 27-point tally to Copper in two games this season.
Toronto is allowing WNBA-high 48.1% shooting on the road, including 56.4% two-point shooting. The Tempo is also facilitating the third-most free-throw attempts per game on the road (23.4), and Copper is getting to the line a career-high 6.7 times per game, including 7.8 per contest at home. She’s also averaging 24.6 points per game in that split while 47.7%, furthering her already formidable case to record at least 22 points for the 16th time this season.

Kiki Rice (TOR) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Rice left us on the hook on her Assists prop last time out against the Storm on Wednesday, but we’re going right back to the well with the talented guard after she compiled 32 points + rebounds + assists across 33 minutes in that contest. Rice put up a combined 23 field-goal and free-throw attempts in that game, and she should be set for similarly elevated usage Saturday.
Toronto will remain without all of Marina Mabrey (hip), Julie Allemand (head), Maria Conde (not injury related) and Nyara Sabally (calf) on Saturday, teeing Rice up for a starting role as the primary ball handler. Rice already comes into the game with a head of steam – she’s averaging 24.3 points + rebounds + assists while shooting 51.3%, including 40.0% from three-point range, in her last seven games. The Mercury make for appealing targets as well, allowing the third-most points (47.9), fifth-most rebounds (11.6) and the second-most assists (15.0) per contest to guards.
