WNBA Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Wednesday, July 29, 2026

Following a busy return to play from the All-Star break Tuesday, the WNBA takes a bit of a breather Wednesday with just two games. However, one of those contests is a marquee Dream-Wings matchup that opens the night and leads into a Valkyries-Mercury battle that serves as a nightcap.

As customary, we’ll look into a trio of top player props to consider.

Wednesday’s Best WNBA Player Props

  • Paige Bueckers (DAL) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
  • Angel Reese (ATL) – Over Points + Rebounds
  • Veronica Burton (GSV) – Over Points + Assists

2026 WNBA Betting Record: 34-19 (+11.94 units)

Paige Bueckers (DAL) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists

Bueckers is the subject of the first of two props we’ll be suggesting from the aforementioned Dream-Wings showdown. The star guard is one-upping her already stellar 2025 rookie campaign, as Bueckers is averaging new career highs in points (20.9), rebounds (4.2), assists (6.2), overall shooting percentage (51.3) and three-point shooting percentage (39.7). Bueckers has only gotten more productive as the season has gone on as well, as she averaged 35.0 points + rebounds + assists with 52.8% shooting, including 40.0% from behind the arc, over her last 10 games before the All-Star break.

Her offensive usage saw a significant boost during that sample, considering she averaged 17.6 field-goal attempts per contest during that span after putting 14.1 shots per contest in the first 15 games of the season. The opposing Dream has played solid defense for most of the season but was showing some vulnerability at the end of the first half, surrendering 91.7 points on 48.6% shooting in their last three games before the pause in play.

Original Line Publish: 29.5

Angel Reese (ATL) – Over Points + Rebounds

Reese is an interesting correlated play with Bueckers in the Dream-Wings battle, as the game is expected to be very competitive and both stars should therefore partly feed off each other by forcing each other to remain aggressive. Reese checks into the night boasting an average of 28.6 points + rebounds over her final 16 games of the first half of the season, even when factoring in an outlier of a 20-minute stint in the July 19 matchup against the Sky due to a left leg injury.

Reese is healthy and ready to roll in the second half, and she’s facing a Wings squad that she has points + rebounds totals of 28 and 24 against this season. The Wings are also surrendering 46.5% shooting overall, including 52.5% from two-point range, where Reese takes almost all of her shot attempts. Then, Dallas is conceding 49.3% shooting overall to forwards specifically, and the Wings rank in the bottom 10 of the league in defensive rebounding rate allowed as well (74.8%).

Original Line Publish: 27.5

Veronica Burton (GSV) – Over Points + Assists

Burton is putting together a second consecutive productive season, delivering a well-rounded line of 11.9 points, 5.5 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals while shooting a solid 35.1% from three-point range. The veteran guard had some big performances in the final couple of weeks before the All-Star break, averaging 17.0 points + assists while shooting a vastly improved 50.9%, including 40.0% from three-point range in her last seven games. Burton eclipsed 17.5 points + assists on four occasions in that span, doing with totals of 25, 23, 22 and 19.

The opposing Mercury has done a poor job against Burton this season in two prior games, allowing points + assists totals of 25 and 33 in that pair of contests. Phoenix comes in allowing the third-most points (48.5) and assists (14.5) per game to guards, which isn’t surprising when considering the Mercury is also conceding WNBA-high 46.6% shooting, including 38.8% from three-point range, to the position, as part of giving up the highest three-point success rate (37.9%) of any team on its home floor.

Original Line Publish: 17.5
