We’re set for a second straight three-game slate Friday, one that’s highlighted by a Lynx-Mystics showdown that kicks off the night. There are some key absences projected, however, and those help inform one of our three player props for tonight’s ledger.

Friday’s Best WNBA Player Props
- Kayla McBride (MIN) – Over Points + Assists
- Veronica Burton (GSV) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
- Carla Leite (POR) – Over Points + Assists
2026 WNBA Betting Record: 70-47 (+15.97 units)
Kayla McBride (MIN) – Over Points + Assists
Napheesa Collier has already been declared out for rest purposes Friday, while Olivia Miles is likely to be less than 100 percent after exiting Wednesday’s game against the Mystics late with an ankle injury. Meanwhile McBride is healthy and enjoying a career-best season on the offensive end with a career-high 18.3 points per game. The veteran guard is accomplishing the feat with the best efficiency of her career, as she’s draining 47.1% of her shots, including 42.4% from behind the arc.
McBride has averaged 18.5 points + assists in her two prior games against the Mystics this season, but she should see a usage bump Friday with Collier unavailable. McBride could also help pick up some of the ball-handling slack if Miles is limited in any way. It’s also worth noting Washington has allowed a robust 10.7 free-throw attempts per game to guards, while McBride’s
91.9% success rate from the line is her best since 2017 and the second highest of her career. She also checks into Friday on an extended stretch of impressive play, averaging 28.3 points + assists on 54.5% shooting, including 50.0% from long distance, over her last eight games.
Original Line Publish: 19.5
Veronica Burton (GSV) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Burton is another proficient guard who comes into her Friday matchup with a head of steam. The fifth-year pro is putting up career highs in points (12.5), field-goal percentage (42.9%) and three-point shooting percentage (36.7%), and she’s been markedly better than her season-long numbers of late. Burton is averaging 24.2 points + rebounds + assists with elite 49.4% shooting, including 40.5% from downtown, over her last eight games.
The opposing Sky is giving up the second-most rebounds (13.1) and the fourth-most free-throw attempts (11.5) per game to guards, and Burton is shooting 85.2% from the line over the aforementioned eight-game period. Chicago is also allowing the seventh-highest shooting percentage (45.9%) and third-most assists (21.7) per home game, furthering Burton’s case against a team she’s averaging 22.0 points + rebounds + assists in two prior games this season.
Original Line Publish: 22.5
Carla Leite (POR) – Over Points + Assists
Leite has made dramatic year-over-year improvement in her second season, more than comfortably doubling up her scoring (7.2 points per game as a rookie, 15.7 this season) and more than tripling her assists average (2.0 in ‘25 to 6.2 this season). Given her boost in points, it isn’t surprising to also learn she’s shooting a full seven percentage points better overall (45.7%, compared to 38.7% in ‘25) and has seen her accuracy from behind the arc shoot up exponentially (from 17.3% to 38.6% this season).
As encouraging as those metrics are, Leite’s actually been even better in recent games. The second-year guard is averaging 25.5 points + assists on 55.2% shooting, including 58.3% from three-point range, over her last six games. Her most recent game against the Tempo saw Leite compile 38 points + assists over 30 minutes while going to the line a whopping 17 times, and
Toronto checks in surrendering a league-high 15.6 assists per game to guards, along with the fifth-most free-throw attempts to the position (11.1).
