Yankees vs. Phillies MLB Game Betting Analysis

Both of these teams seems to be trending in opposite directions for how their season’s started, New York beginning hot but now cold and watching the Boston Red Sox catch up. Philadelphia began cold and made a manager move before clicking and now threatening Atlanta for the NL East title. This is an important series to say the least.

The Over is where we will probably look for this one, with it hitting in five of six meetings between New York and Philadelphia. The Phillies are averaging close to 10 runs per home game this season, also hitting the Over in eight of 12 home games when facing the AL. The Phillies have seen at least one team score six or more runs in four of five games, while the YRFI has also hit in six straight meetings when playing at night.

The moneyline is a bit tricky, although the seasonal momentum sides with Philly they are coming off a tough two straight losses to Los Angeles, and losing four of six overall. Philly has won seven straight games when facing the AL East when coming off a loss, but the conviction between both markets (along with value) lies in the total. Feel free to test the YRFI at +100 first, and then take the live bet Over if it misses – as an alternate wager if you’d like.
