New York Mets Depth Chart 2022 Mets Depth Chart

101-61, 1st in NL East

SD 6 @ NYM 0

New York has been trying to piece together a winning ball club over the last few years. They brought in Robinson Cano, and also added Marcus Stroman, and Rick Porcello over the last few seasons. The Mets have looked to hit on young power bat, Pete Alonso. Health has been one of the biggest downfalls for the Mets in recent years, and that is already the case with Noah Syndergaard being done for the season. This will leave Jacob deGrom up top, and the rest of the rotation is going to need to pick up the slack. The Mets have a few strong younger names with J.D. Davis, Michael Conforto, and Amed Rosario. This depth chart has some depth added, where that was not the case to mask their injuries in recent seasons. Yoenis Cespedes is still coming back from injury, but if he can return then this offense would get a big lift.
