Game Betting Analysis
Although the YRFI has been kind to us this series, it missed in Game 3 while the Over hit – so we’ll play it a bit safer with the wager tonight and take the Over alone, without the YRFI attached. Why? Well, Milwaukee has actually seen the NRFI hit in six straight games when facing the AL East on he road. The Over, however, has now hit in four of the last five meetings between these clubs, while Tampa Bay has hit the Over in six of seven home games when facing the NL. So despite the success we’ve had with the YRFI, Game 3 brings us back down to earth for an Over look at Game 4.

Brewers vs. Rays Odds (Spread, Moneyline, Over/Under)
Deciding Factor: Milwaukee’s Top-to-Bottom Lineup vs. Tampa Bay’s Shredded Pitching Staff
The Brewers are one win from their first World Series title after a historic 10-1 rout in Game 3, when seven consecutive two-out hits produced an eight-run fifth inning — a postseason record — and buried a Rays team that had been hanging around. Jackson Chourio went 4-for-5 with a stolen base, becoming the youngest player with a four-hit, one-steal World Series game since Ty Cobb in 1908, while William Contreras added a 3-for-5 night of his own on the heels of his Game 1 history-making, two-hit/two-caught-stealing performance. The production came from everywhere: Cooper Pratt ripped a two-run double, Sal Frelick added an RBI double, and rookie lefty Robert Gasser retired the first 18 Rays he faced and allowed just one hit through six innings, the first left-hander to do that in a World Series game since Sandy Koufax in 1965. That’s a lineup hitting from top to bottom against a Tampa Bay pitching staff that already burned through its starter and five relievers in a single night just to get through Game 3.
The Rays, meanwhile, are in true win-or-go-home mode, and their pitching has nothing left to give after that beating. Cam Booser faced four batters in relief and recorded zero outs, letting all three inherited runners score, while starter Freddy Peralta was charged with five earned runs over 4 2/3 innings before handing the fire to him. Tampa Bay’s scheduled Game 4 starter, Griffin Jax, carries a 6.00 ERA over two postseason outings and hasn’t gone more than five innings since July, which puts even more strain on a middle bullpen CBS Sports has already called “sketchy.” Add in self-inflicted mistakes — Junior Caminero went 0-for-3 and committed a throwing error in Game 3 — and a Rays team that was just 43-38 on the road this season, and it’s clear they need a near-perfect, mistake-free night at home just to survive. If Jax can somehow find length and Tampa Bay finally stops beating itself, the Rays have a sliver of a path to forcing a Game 5; if Milwaukee’s lineup runs through outs again the way it did Sunday, this series — and Milwaukee’s championship drought — ends tonight.
