👑 William Contreras – MIL/C/MVP ($12,900)
He’s been the Game 1 story of this World Series: 2-for-3 at the plate while also throwing out two Rays trying to steal, making him the first player this century with multiple hits and multiple caught-stealings in the same World Series game. Tampa Bay hadn’t been caught stealing all postseason before that. At catcher he’s a rare source of both offensive production and a near-unmatched defensive/arm ceiling, which is exactly what you want wearing the crown multiplier.
Jackson Chourio – MIL/UTIL ($9,600)
He’s quietly in the middle of an MVP-caliber season (.292/.349/.493, 23 HR, 67 RBI, 130 OPS+), and he’s been scorching since Aug. 27 (.377/.402/.675, six homers, 17 RBI). He’s already shown he can do it on the biggest stage too, taking Blake Snell deep on the first pitch he saw in NLCS Game 3 — exactly the kind of aggressive, early-pitch power that plays against a Rays staff trying to avoid giving him anything to hit.
Cooper Pratt – MIL/UTIL ($6,200)
The rookie delivered the biggest hit of his career in Game 2: a go-ahead, seventh-inning RBI single off a 2-2 sinker that helped erase a four-run deficit, then stole second right after. That made him the second-youngest player since 1920 to drive in a run and steal a base in the same World Series game, behind only Juan Soto. With 19 steals in just 74 games this year, he’s a legit source of cheap speed and situational hitting in this price range.
Sal Frelick – MIL/UTIL ($4,800)
He’s been a table-setting menace this postseason, hitting .269/.375/.423 with 7 hits, 5 runs scored and 3 stolen bases in just 26 at-bats. That OBP and aggressiveness on the bases makes him a low-cost way to rack up runs-scored and steal equity at the bottom of the salary sheet.
Junior Caminero- TB/UTIL ($9,800)
The Rays’ biggest power threat, coming off a 42-homer, 101-RBI regular season (up from 45 HR in 2025) with his OBP up 49 points and a 5.7 WAR. He’s drawing careful pitch-to treatment from opposing staffs in this World Series specifically because of that pop, which makes him the top home-run equity play from the Tampa Bay side of this slate.
Victor Mesa, Jr. – TB/UTIL ($6,600)
A boom-bust speed piece at the bottom of the lineup: Tampa Bay tied for second in MLB with 164 steals this year, and Mesa’s been in the middle of that aggressive running game, even getting caught stealing third in Game 1 off a 103 mph Misiorowski heater. The aggression is a risk, but it also means stolen-base and runs-scored upside that’s hard to find this cheap.
