A pair of NFC East teams in distress face off in what has become a pivotal Week 7 game for both squads. With matching 2-4 records, both Dallas and Philadelphia are getting by in a mediocre division, but each needs a course correction to avoid what could be a longer spiral.

Without further ado, let’s dive into three player props to consider for Monday Night Football action. Be sure to check out our NFL betting trends page for data and odds on every game.
Cowboys-Eagles Best NFL Week 7 Player Props
- George Pickens Over 62.5 Receiving Yards
- Dallas Goedert Over 4.5 Receptions
- Makai Lemon Over 35.5 Receiving Yards
George Pickens Over Receiving Yards
After a slow start to the season, Pickens has started to hit his stride. The franchise-tagged wideout mustered a combined 9-68-0 line on 14 targets over his first two games. However, Pickens has subsequently recorded 24 catches for 360 yards and a touchdown on 38 targets over the subsequent four games, seeing a target on 23.2% of his routes and 2.2 yards per route run in that sample.
Pickens is 4-0 to the Over on the 62.5 in that span, and he’s now in an interesting spot Monday night. The Eagles secondary not been as effective as last season in terms of preventing overall production, and Philadelphia is conceding an elevated 13.9 yards per reception to wide receivers. Meanwhile, Pickens has logged an 11.3-yard aDOT, and he’s laying claim to a robust 31.5% of the Cowboys’ air yards.
Pickens had a nine-catch, 146-yard, one-touchdown tally against Philadelphia in one of two games last season as well, and the Cowboys have a solid implied team total of almost 25 points that suggests the yards could pile up on Dallas’ side over the course of the game.
Original Line Publish: 62.5
Dallas Goedert Over Receptions
The perpetually short-handed Eagles are in familiar position Monday night. Saquon Barkley is listed as questionable due to his hamstring injury, but top two receivers DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) are already ruled out. The same naturally applies to Jalen Hurts (IR, calf), and although that means Tanner McKee will be under center for Philadelphia, the outlook is still very positive for Goedert due to all the circumstances at play.
The veteran tight end has experience with McKee, and their most recent game together in Week 6 netted Goedert a 6-61-0 line on eight targets. Goedert had six catches as well in London against the Jaguars with Hurts at the helm a week prior, and he posted four receptions in the season-opening win over the Commanders. The Cowboys have given up a 31-278-3 line to tight ends through six games, along with an 83.8% catch rate to the position.
Smith and Wicks are averaging a combined 15.6 targets per game this season, so there should be plenty of extra work for Goedert on Monday night.
Original Line: 4.5
Makai Lemon Over Receiving Yards
We’ll continue on the theme established in Goedert’s entry, namely, the significant amount of opportunity that the absences of Smith and Wicks should open for the rest of Philadelphia’s pass-catching corps. Lemon is set to work as the Eagles de facto No. 1 receiver in the absence of his two teammates, which should mean a nice boost in production for the rookie. Lemon’s first NFL season has been relatively unremarkable to this point while being used primarily in a short-area role, but that could be subject to change against Dallas.
Lemon should be due for an increase in his modest 5.1-yard aDOT, and a Cowboys defense that’s allowed 12.3 yards per completion on the road certainly presents as a unit that could help facilitate some downfield success. Dallas is also conceding 14.3 yards per reception two wide receivers, and although Lemon has only one game with more than 35.5 receiving yards to date, that’s certainly not a high bar to clear when factoring in the extra routes and targets he should be in position to see.
