Best MLB Championship Series Player Props
- Steven Kwan Over 0.5 Singles
- Junior Caminero Over 1.5 Total Bases
Steven Kwan Over Singles
Kwan has long been one of baseball’s most reliable contact hitters, and he posted a minuscule 9.7% strikeout rate this past regular season. The veteran posted an 88.5% contact rate overall, and as usual, the majority of his hits went for just one base. Kwan laced 125 of his 152 knocks during the season for singles, and all seven of his hits thus far this postseason have also fit that description.
Kwan went 0-for-4 in Game 3 on Thursday, but he has a favorable track record against Rays starter Nick Martinez. Kwan has gone 3-for-7 with a pair of doubles and two RBI in his career against Martinez, and he posted a .291 average and .353 wOBA against right-handed pitching at home during the regular season. Kwan also produced an even tinier 8.8% strikeout rate in that split, and 42 of his 52 hits off righties at Progressive Field went for singles.

Junior Caminero Over Total Bases
There’s no announced Guardians starter yet, but Caminero’s prodigious power always puts the Over for his Total Bases prop in play. The slugger is having a solid postseason, posting a .294 average and .812 OPS with a pair of doubles among his five hits. He has seven total bases in five games overall, but he’s yet to go deep after doing so on 42 occasions during the regular season.
Caminero averaged a home run once every 16.7 plate appearances during the season, as well 2.0 total bases per game, so he could well be due for a bit of positive regression in terms of his power. He’s also got a solid track record at Progressive Field in terms of getting good wood on the ball – six of his 10 career hits there have gone for extra bases. He averaged 1.9 total bases per road game this past regular season as well, further fueling this prop.
