After an all-ALDS MLB Playoffs slate Monday, it’s the National League’s turn Tuesday.

The Dodgers look to take the lead in their series with the Braves after suffering a Game 2 upset, while the Brewers look to build on the momentum of their dramatic victory in Game 2 to pull off a sweep of the Padres.

Let’s break down a trio of viable player prop opportunities for Tuesday’s high-stakes battles. Don’t forget to check out our MLB daily trends page for game odds, data, and insights.

Best MLB Division Series Player Props

  • Mookie Betts Over 0.5 Singles
  • Yoshinobu Yamamoto Under 8.5 Hits + Walks + Earned Runs Allowed
  • Ty France Over 0.5 Singles

Mookie Betts (Dodgers at Braves) Over Singles

Betts narrowly missed coming through as a Game 2 suggestion on this same prop, as he did get on base twice but did so via a pair of walks instead of any hits. Nevertheless, the perennial All-Star remains in play in Game 3 for many of the same reasons, including his career track record against Braves starter Chris Sale.

Betts has a .389 average and only two career strikeouts in 18 career plate appearances against the legendary left-hander, and as noted Saturday, he went into the series with a collective .383 average and 1.114 OPS over 65 career plate appearances against current Braves pitchers.

Betts’ 11.0% strikeout rate during the regular season underscores how often he puts the ball in play, and that’s one of the main metrics, along with his above-average 21.0% line-drive rate, that we can lean on when betting the Over on this prop. It’s also worth noting Betts was good against lefties on the road during the season, posting a .270 average and tiny 8.9% strikeout rate in that split while recording singles on 16 of his 20 hits.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto (Dodgers at Braves) Under Total Hits + Walks + Earned Runs Allowed

Yamamoto put together another impressive season in 2026, finishing with a 14-9 record, 2.53 ERA, 0.87 WHIP, solid 8.9 K/9 and career-low 2.0 BB/9 across 28 starts. The Japanese right-hander allowed more than three earned runs on just three occasions, and he actually did his best work on the road, where he was especially proficient at run prevention.

Yamamoto furnished a 1.77 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and miniscule 0.7 HR/9 across 81.1 innings outside Dodger Stadium. Those numbers were partly constituted of a gem of an Aug. 27 start at Truist Park, when Yamamoto allowed an earned run on four hits and a walk over 6.1 innings while recording eight strikeouts.

Yamamoto allowed 6.9 hits + walks + earned runs per start on the road this season (12 starts overall), which gives further fuel to the Under in this instance. Finally, it’s worth noting Tuesday’s game also has a minuscule projected run total of 6.5, with Atlanta sporting an implied team total of 2.5 runs.

Original Line Publish: 8.5

Ty France (Padres vs. Brewers) Over Singles

Much like Betts, France is a rock-solid contact hitter who was on a tear for most of the second half of the season and then proceeded to carry that momentum over into the postseason. France slashed .315/.397/.459 over the last 50 games of the regular season, a sample where 41 of his 57 knocks were singles.

France has proceeded to be even better over his first four playoff games, producing a .467 average and 1.063 OPS while recording six singles among his seven hits during that sample. Then, the veteran is facing a starting pitcher in Dustin May that he’s recorded a .333 average against over 12 career encounters.

France posted a .303 average at home during the regular season, including a .314 figure against right-handers there. A total of 36 of France’s 49 hits in the latter sample went for singles, as did 61 of his 96 total knocks against righties overall. Additionally, May pitched to plenty of contact (142 hits allowed in 145.2 innings) but simultaneously did a good job keeping the ball in the park and keeping extra-base hits down (7.8% barrel rate and 90.0 mph average exit velocity allowed, both below 50th percentile).
