Best NBA Wednesday Props
- Trae Young Over 29.5 Points + Assists
- Tyler Herro Over 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
- Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds
Trae Young (Wizards vs. Bucks) Over Points + Assists
Young is set to be one of the key cogs of a new-look Wizards squad that will also feature Anthony Davis and AJ Dybantsa among its starting five. However, the latter will sit out Wednesday’s game due to a preseason ankle injury, which will open up some extra opportunity all the way around on the starting five. Young, never one to shy away from putting plenty on his shoulders, is likely to incur even heavier usage than usual as a result.
Young got a head start on acclimating to head coach Brian Keefe’s fast-paced attack after coming over from the Hawks via trade last season. Young only got five games of regular-season action in before being shut down for the season in mid-March and logged a modest 20.6 minutes per game, but he averaged 21.4 points + assists in that span while shooting a blistering 59.5%, certainly impressive per-minute production.
Young is highly capable of eclipsing this 29.5 prop any time he’s handling a full workload, and the 2018 first-round pick still has plenty of capable talent around him even with Dybantsa out. The opposing Bucks also aren’t expected to pose a particularly daunting defensive challenge, and given the number of extra possessions Young should see regularly in Washington, this number is in play in a game with a robust projected total of 239.5 points and tight 4.5-point spread.

Tyler Herro (Bucks vs. Wizards) Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
There’s plenty of games to choose from Wednesday, but when there’s a very enticing game environment to capitalize on, it makes sense to double up. We’re doing so in this case with Herro, who should be very aggressive while playing at a very brisk pace that he’s highly comfortable with after playing with the league’s fastest team in the Heat last season.
Herro averaged 29.4 points + rebounds + assists in Miami last season and shot a solid 48.0% in the process. With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Porter Jr. now off the roster, there’s no shortage of usage to be soaked up by Milwaukee’s new-look first unit. Herro also has the luxury of playing alongside from Heat teammate Jaime Jaquez Jr., and the chemistry/familiarity between the duo could help prop up Herro’s assist total.
The extra possessions and the Wizards’ defensive deficiencies, which included giving up an Eastern Conference-high 124.9 points per game a year ago, also add fuel to the Over in a contest that should be both high-scoring and highly contested.

Jaren Jackson Jr. (Jazz vs. Grizzlies) Over Points + Rebounds
A game that may have almost, if not as much offense as the Bucks-Wizards clash is this Jazz-Grizzlies showdown, which gives Jackson a crack at his former squad. In fact, with a 1.5-pont spread and projected total of 240.5 points, we may actually have the most fertile environment for scoring and rebounding to pile up as these two fast-paced, defensively questionable squads do battle.
Like Young, Jackson barely had an opportunity to suit up following his trade from Memphis last season before suffering a knee injury that shut him down just three games into his Utah tenure. However, Jackson averaged 24.1 points + rebounds across 29.6 minutes per game in that small sample, just a glimpse of what he might be able to bring to the table in Will Hardy’s system. Jackson should be due for more playing time, particularly in what shapes up as a very close game, and prior to his injury-shortened 2025-26 campaign, the big man averaged 27.9 points + rebounds over the prior two seasons.
The Grizzlies do have a re-fortified frontcourt led by Cameron Boozer, but Jackson’s typically efficient shooting and ability to space the floor coupled with what should be an abundance of possessions should afford him plenty of opportunities to cash here.
