Top TD Picks: Emeka Egbuka , George Pickens
It’s time for the Sunday afternoon Week 2 slate, so we’re going to zone in on two anytime touchdown props. I’m targeting two wide receivers at appealing prices in favorable spots at home. Each of their teams has a high implied total, which bodes well for their chances of finding the end zone. With that in mind, let’s dive into why I like Emeka Egbuka and George Pickens to find the end zone on the Week 2 Sunday PM slate.

Emeka Egbuka (Buccaneers vs. Browns) Touchdown Odds
Emeka Egbuka had a rock-solid rookie season, putting up 63 receptions for 938 yards and six touchdowns. But the numbers could have looked a lot better, as most of that production came in the first half of the season. Afterwards, Egbuka dealt with a hamstring issue, which suppressed his numbers.
While there were questions about Egbuka’s health coming into this year, as he was dealing with a toe sprain, he looked healthy in Week 1 against the Bengals. It was a pretty good game for Egbuka, as he hauled in 5-of-6 targets for 63 yards. What’s intriguing was the usage, as Egbuka was often put in motion, which can put him in favorable spots to make big plays.
As the top wideout for the Bucs, I like Egbuka’s chances of finding the end zone against the Browns. Tampa has a 25.5-point team total, so they’re projected to score nearly four touchdowns in this game. We can get Egbuka at around +155 odds at the time of this article, making him a nice value in this spot.
NFL Week 2 DFS Value Plays & Picks
George Pickens (Cowboys vs. Commanders) Touchdown Odds
George Pickens had a terrific debut season for the Cowboys, catching 93 passes for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns. Week 1 was a down week for Pickens, as he caught 3-of-6 targets for only 28 yards. However, if we look under the hood, there’s a lot to like about Pickens’ chances of finding the end zone in this spot.
Pickens had 100 air yards in that game, including a drawn pass interference penalty, so the numbers could have looked a lot better. The Cowboys have a 27.5-point team total for this game, so they’re projected to score about four touchdowns. If that happens, there’s a great chance that one of those will go to Pickens, as he can make a major impact in the red zone, especially with contested catches.
We’re getting about +130 odds on Pickens to score in this game, which is enough value for me to pull the trigger, especially in what could be a high-scoring game environment.
