Top TD Picks: AJ Barner & Courtland Sutton
We’re all set for an inter-conference matchup Week 6 Thursday Night Football between the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos. The Seahawks are coming off a tough loss at home to the 49ers, while the Broncos took care of business against the Chargers. However, this is a projected low-scoring game with a 40.5-point total, so touchdowns are likely to be hard to come by. To that end, we’re going to focus on longer shot picks for anytime touchdown props.

That’s why we’re going with AJ Barner and Courtland Sutton for this matchup. As always, ne sure to check out our NFL betting trends page for data and odds on every game.
AJ Barner Touchdown Odds
AJ Barner has caught 12-of-20 targets for 122 yards so far this season. This includes a spike week against the Commanders, when he hauled in 5-of-9 targets for 69 yards. However, Barner has yet to find the end zone this year. That’s a surprising stat considering he had six touchdowns last year.
With Jaxon Smith-Njigba banged up with an ankle injury, perhaps the Seahawks will try to get their tight end more involved. It’s the right matchup to do so, as the Broncos rank 25th in receiving yards allowed to the position. Tight ends have three touchdowns vs the Broncos this season.
Considering that this is projected to be a low-scoring game, it makes sense to target players with longer odds like Barner. At the time of this article, you can get him at +380 odds, which is an appealing price considering the circumstances.
Courtland Sutton Touchdown Odds
Courtland Sutton is off to a slow start this year, hauling in 11-of-25 targets for 104 yards and one touchdown. The problem hasn’t just been the increased target competition with Jaylen Waddle. It’s been that this passing game has been completely dysfunctional, as Bo Nix has really struggled this year.
With that said, Sutton is a big-bodied wideout who can make an impact with contested catches. That’s exactly the type of wideout you need against a stout Seahawks defense that does a great job limiting opposing passing games.
Sutton has proven throughout his career that he can score touchdowns with the best of them, putting up 7+ scores in each of his previous three seasons. We’re getting him at an appealing price for this game at +240 odds, making him worth a look in this spot.
