Liverpool vs. LASK: Bradley Barcola 4+ Shots (+175)
Talented Frenchman Bradley Barcola has had a nightmare start to the season after his move from PSG to Liverpool. The 24-year-old has failed to register a goal or assist in 10 appearances for club and country, but may be in the perfect spot to get going on Wednesday afternoon. Barcola and Liverpool are heavy favorites over Austrian side LASK, and the speedy winger may finally open his Liverpool account in a game with a 3.5-goal implied total.
Manager Andoni Iraola will need Barcola to step up with the injuries his side faces in attack. Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexander Isak, and Cody Gakpo are all expected to miss Wednesday’s match, leaving Barcola as the most experienced option in the front three. The former PSG star took three shots in Liverpool’s UCL opener in September, and with his squad now shorthanded, he should see even more opportunities against a LASK side that faced 18 total shots in Matchweek 1.
Manchester City vs. PSG: Ferran Torres 1+ Goals + Assists (+135)
Unlike Barcola, Ferran Torres has had a seamless start to the season after his move from Barcelona to PSG. The man who scored the World Cup-winning goal this summer has carried his exceptional form to Ligue 1 and leads the team with seven goals across all competitions. He scored a hat-trick in the Champions League opener against Slovan and now faces his toughest opponent of the season in Manchester City.
City have been perfect under new manager Enzo Maresca, winning eight straight games across all competitions to open the season. The Premier League side has conceded just five goals all season but did show some vulnerability against strikers, giving up three goals to Sunderland’s ST Brian Brobbey in the final game before the international break. These teams met in the group stage two seasons ago in an instant-classic six-goal thriller, with PSG winning 4-2. A repeat may be unlikely, but when two clubs of this caliber meet, chances will come, and Torres will look to make the most of his.
Roma vs. Real Madrid: Kylian Mbappé 3+ Shots on Target (+140)
Last season’s UCL Golden Boot winner opened this year’s campaign with a goal in Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Inter Milan on Matchday 1. Mbappé suffered a scare during the international break but returned to feature in the 1-0 win over Villarreal on Saturday and is fully available for Wednesday. He had three shots, two on target, in his return at the weekend and now has 48 total shots in nine appearances across all competitions for Madrid.
Of those 48 shots, 28 have been on target, including four against Inter Milan on Matchday 1 of this competition. The 27-year-old led his club with 2.7 shots on target per game in the UCL and 2.0 in La Liga last season and is on pace to surpass both marks, currently averaging 3.1 per game across all competitions. He has registered three or more shots on target in six of his eight games played over 60 minutes. Mbappé and Real Madrid are slight road favorites against Roma, with the Spanish side given an implied total of at least two goals.

Nicolás Jackson (Aston Villa, $8,600)
Senegalese ST Nicolás Jackson appears to have found a permanent home at Aston Villa, reuniting with former manager Unai Emery. The 25-year-old has scored or assisted in each of his last four straight games for club and country and faces a favorable home matchup against Turkish side Fenerbahçe in Matchweek 2. Jackson scored the winner for Villa against Club Brugge in this competition’s opener back in September and is comfortably his side’s biggest goal-scoring threat heading into Wednesday. He now has 5 goal contributions in limited appearances for his new club this season.
Vinícius Jr. (Real Madrid, $7,800)
There is no denying that Vinícius Jr.’s form has been concerning. His $7,800 price tag reflects just how far below his best the Real Madrid superstar has been this season, but Wednesday could be the perfect opportunity for a turnaround. The Brazilian has just 4 goal contributions in nine appearances for the club but showed more of his usual self in the Champions League opener back in September. While he did not add a goal or assist in the 2-1 win over Inter Milan, the dribbling and flair we have come to expect from him were visible again. With Vinícius now suspended in La Liga following a red card, manager José Mourinho should have him fresh and available for the midweek fixture when he is eligible to feature.
Arda Güler (Real Madrid, $6,800)
Arda Güler is set to make his UCL debut this season after missing Matchday 1 through injury. Questions lingered about how he would fit into the squad under Mourinho, but his creativity and playmaking have made him a regular in the new manager’s lineup. He leads all Real Madrid players in xA (3.17) and has created a team-high eight big chances in La Liga this season. The Turkish midfielder will benefit greatly from having Kylian Mbappé back in the lineup, and an assist would not be a surprise. Regardless, the 21-year-old is always a threat to score from set pieces, create chances, and rack up contributions from the center of the pitch.
Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid, $6,200)
Güler’s midfield partner Jude Bellingham has followed up a historic World Cup with a strong start to his fourth season at Real Madrid. The Englishman has 10 goal contributions in 13 appearances for club and country and was outstanding during the most recent international break. The 23-year-old was unlucky not to score in last month’s Champions League opener, missing two big chances and finishing the game with 1.24 xG. Expect him to be more clinical when the opportunities arrive this time around.
Nuno Mendes (PSG, $4,500)
PSG’s entire defense could be in for a long afternoon in what should be an end-to-end contest for long stretches. Both fullbacks thrive in Luis Enrique’s system of pushing forward in attack, but against a counter-attacking team as dangerous as Manchester City, Nuno Mendes will be especially important. The Portuguese left back was hampered by injury early in the season but looks to have returned to his best after four strong performances for his country during the international break. The 24-year-old contributed two assists during Nations League play and was key defensively as Portugal won all four games. He has experience in big matches throughout his career and should deliver again against the toughest opposition his club has faced this season.
Achraf Hakimi (PSG, $5,700)
Mendes’ counterpart Achraf Hakimi will likewise be busy on the right side of the pitch on Wednesday. Whether he is containing some of the world’s best wingers or surging forward and delivering dangerous crosses, Hakimi is widely regarded as the best right back in the game right now. The Moroccan has yet to register a goal contribution for club or country this season, though he has played limited minutes after a long club season and the World Cup this summer. In a game of this magnitude, expect Hakimi to be at his best on both sides of the ball.
Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG, $5,000)
Wait — flagging this one. The header lists Donnarumma as a PSG player at $5,000, but the write-up refers to him as Manchester City’s goalkeeper facing his former club. Worth double-checking which team he is listed under in the DFS lineup before publishing.
The Italian is widely considered one of the best keepers in the world and will face one of the most dangerous attacks he has encountered since moving to England. PSG scored a competition-high six goals on Matchday 1, logging an absurd 14 shots on target against Slovan. They are unlikely to reach that volume here, but Donnarumma will have plenty of work to do on Wednesday afternoon.
Fabián Ruiz (PSG, $5,000)
We round out our lineup with PSG midfielder Fabián Ruiz. The World Cup winner has been one of Luis Enrique’s most trusted pieces in big games, and with good reason. He has been integral to PSG’s back-to-back Champions League titles and opened this campaign with a goal against Slovan. His domestic form has been somewhat underwhelming, but like many PSG players, he tends to save his best for the Champions League — a competition in which he has consistently delivered over the past two seasons.
