PGA Tour Golf Odds, Picks, Predictions: Final 2026 PLAYERS Championship Betting Card, OAD
PGA Tour golf continues with TPC Sawgrass taking center stage to host the 2026 Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, this Thursday. Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy headline among THE PLAYERS Championship bets this week, as John Haslbauer provides his favorite PGA Tour picks from the available golf odds. Below, you’ll find each player’s best odds at legal betting sites.
It’s my favorite golf viewing event of the year. The PGA Tour’s best converge at the famed TPC Sawgrass for the 2026 PLAYERS Championship. This event is home to some of the most iconic moments in the sport’s history, with many famous risk-reward holes. I can’t wait for the action to get started this Thursday.
This year, some slight modifications have been made to lengthen the course just beyond 7,300 yards and lengthen out the rough. Adding a new tree to challenge players on their sixth-hole tee shot should only enhance viewing pleasure. Precise ball strikers with the intangible ability to elevate their games on golf’s biggest stages have consistently found themselves atop the leaderboard at this event.
Let’s go through all the bets I’ve placed for the 2026 PLAYERS Championship, without further ado.

How I Built My PLAYERS Championship Betting Card
We may be in the eye of the storm with Scottie Scheffler, but for whatever reason, it doesn’t feel as inevitable as I thought it would that the two-time PLAYERS champion would assert his dominance yet again at this event. With Rory McIlroy also ailing from a back injury, that should open the door for many contenders in the deepest field on tour, so I’ve opted to build a bigger card with exposure to proven veterans with great history on positional Bermuda layouts.
With all of that in mind, it’s back to business as usual for my weekly stake at The PLAYERS Championship:
- Outrights — 3.5U in to pay 25U each
- FRL — 0.5U in to pay out 10U+ each
- Full tournament matchups — 1U in to pay out 2U
- Props — 1.5U in to pay out 3U+ each
THE PLAYERS Championship Bets: Outrights (3.5 Units)
Collin Morikawa
My Bet: +2500
Best Available Odds:
It took a couple of years, but the Morikawa of old appears to be officially back again. Collin has followed up his breakout win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with solid showings of T7 at The Genesis Invitational and 5th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The Californian has seen plenty of success outside of his home state as well though, winning in the state of Florida back in 2021 at the WGC- Workday Championship. TPC Sawgrass is yet another demanding tee-to-green test that rewards consistently avoiding trouble, which has been Morikawa’s greatest strong suit.
Collin has a pair of top-15 finishes at this event over the last three years, including a T10 last year where he ranked 4th in the field in SG: APP. The putter has not been spectacular for Morikawa this year, but it has been above field average in each of his last three starts. A positive showing on the greens at TPC Sawgrass could be the final piece Morikawa needs to break through on a course so perfectly suited to his strengths.
Cameron Young
My Bet: +4000
Best Available Odds:
Players have talked all week about TPC Sawgrass standing the test of time against modern distance, and instead requiring precise shot-shaping. This angular setup asks players to work the ball in both directions, both off the tee and on approach. Few others possess the shot-shaping prowess that Cameron Young boasts, a skillset that led to a dominant victory at the Wyndham Championship on another positional Bermuda setup.
Young is in excellent form at the moment with finishes of T7 and T3 in his last two Signature Event starts. Most encouragingly, Young looks to be in complete control of his driver, leading the field in SG: OTT at last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Matt Fitzpatrick
My Bet: +4400
Best Available Odds:
My featured Spotlight player of the week, there is much to like about Fitzpatrick coming into this week. He’s built great momentum since winning the DP World Tour Championship last November, currently off to the best ball-striking season of his career on the PGA TOUR. Fitzpatrick was a top-4 favorite at last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, and we’ve now seen his odds double just one week later.
With two top-10 finishes at this event since 2021, Fitzpatrick has proven his game translates on this stage. He is already a winner at Pete Dye’s Harbour Town Golf Links, and is well-equipped to handle a strategist’s course like TPC Sawgrass.
Min Woo Lee
My Bet: +6600
Best Available Odds:
The 27-year-old Australian continues to evolve his game with every year of experience he adds on the PGA TOUR. Once simply a pure bomber who feasted on wide-open layouts like Memorial Park, he’s unlocked a new gear with his approach play and course management on positional venues in 2026. Min Woo has now posted finishes of T2, T12, and T6 over his last three starts.
The results at TPC Sawgrass don’t exactly tell the full story with Min Woo. He’s held a share of the lead over the weekend twice over the last three years, good enough for finishes of T20 and T6 over that stretch. As one of the most skilled short game players on the PGA TOUR, Min Woo will be a threat this week if the ball-striking stays in control.
Jake Knapp
My Bet: +6600
Best Available Odds:
Concerns about Knapp’s health earlier this week rendered him further down the odds board than he would otherwise be. Reports have since clarified he withdrew from last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational for precautionary reasons due to a minor tweak in his back.
Looking his normal self in practice rounds this week, there’s plenty to like about Knapp now. He ranks No. 1 on the PGA TOUR in total strokes gained in 2026 with finishes of T11, T5, 8th, T8, and 6th over his first five starts. Knapp has found success at THE PLAYERS in lesser form before, finishing T12 at this event last year.
Sepp Straka
My Bet: +6600
Best Available Odds:
One of the most popular picks of the 2026 PLAYERS Championship, it’s hard to talk yourself out of betting on Sepp Straka this week, especially at this discounted price. Straka checks all the boxes of course history (three top 16s over the last four years) and recent form (three top-20s over his last four starts).
Growing up on Bermuda greens in Georgia, Straka has played his best golf in this area and can lean on his precise driving and iron play to separate here. With the rough at TPC Sawgrass grown out as long as we’ve ever seen, Straka’s elite accuracy will offer a huge advantage this week.
Daniel Berger
My Bet: +6600
Best Available Odds:
It was a heartbreaking loss for Daniel Berger at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week. I’m not concerned about Berger’s play down the stretch, however, as the 4-time PGA TOUR winner was simply run down by a red-hot Akshay Bhatia on the back 9.
Trending form is crucial leading up to THE PLAYERS, and I loved everything I saw from Berger’s ball-striking and short game last week. A pure Florida native, Berger carries the longest active made cut streak at THE PLAYERS in this field, as he’ll look to play the weekend for the eighth straight time this week.
THE PLAYERS Championship Bets: First-Round Leader (0.5 Units)
Cameron Young
My Bet: +4000
Best Available Odds:
Young’s distance, streaky putting, and ability to work the ball in both directions all offer pathways to find birdies in bunches at TPC Sawgrass. He led the field in SG: OTT last week, and should have full confidence coming into this event since winning the Wyndham Championship last year.
Justin Rose
My Bet: +5000
Best Available Odds:
TPC Sawgrass favors the boldest players who are not afraid to take on risky pins and go for par-5 greens in two. That is exactly the strategy Rose implemented in his runaway victory at Torrey Pines earlier this year. He’ll look to continue the momentum of two top-10s over his last five appearances at this event.
Aaron Rai
My Bet: +7000
Best Available Odds:
Regardless of circumstance, I will always bet Aaron Rai FRL, but this is an ideal setup for his game. Rai is elite in driving accuracy and mid-iron approach play, two premium skill sets to bring to TPC Sawgrass. He should feel right at home here as well, as a Ponte Vedra Beach resident who practices out of TPC Sawgrass.
Wyndham Clark
My Bet: +7500
Best Available Odds:
Clark knows the formula to go low here, finishing one stroke shy of Scottie Scheffler at this event in 2024. It’s been a relatively quiet start to the season for Clark, but his best result, a T13 at The American Express, came on a similar Pete Dye positional design.
Tom Hoge
My Bet: +10000
Best Available Odds:
A tradition unlike any other, I will always have exposure to Tom Hoge in the FRL market at THE PLAYERS, regardless of form. Hoge, the course record holder at TPC Sawgrass himself, successfully paced the field in the first round of the 2022 Players Championship and seems to have regained his elite approach form in recent weeks.
THE PLAYERS Championship Prop Bets (2.5 Units)
Full Tournament Matchup: Jason Day over Justin Thomas
My Bet: -120
Last week, Justin Thomas was a full conviction fade in his first start back from back surgery in November. The result? A last-place finish at +14. I don’t expect much to change one week later for Thomas, who has gone on record to say that he simply wants to shake off the rust and get in game shape for The Masters.
Day hasn’t exactly played inspiring golf either, coming in off of back-to-back missed cuts, but he was a runner-up finisher in his last appearance on a Pete Dye venue at the 2026 American Express.
Top-20 Finish: Sepp Straka
My Bet: +225
Best Available Odds:
Straka brings all the high floor qualities I’m looking for at TPC Sawgrass. He’s a strong long-term Bermuda putter with proven history at this event (three top-16s over his last four appearances), and three top-20s over his last four starts.
Top-20 Finish: Aaron Rai
My Bet: +360
Best Available Odds:
The 2024 Wyndham Championship winner knows his way around a positional Bermuda track. He has plenty of familiarity with TPC Sawgrass as well, living in the area. That’s translated to a pair of top-20 finishes here over his first three appearances.
One And Done
My Pick: Collin Morikawa
TPC Sawgrass is exactly the type of golf course in which Collin can separate with his ball striking skillsets. He is in complete control of his game right now three consecutive top-10 finishes, and is swinging with full confidence. Rory McIlroy followed up a win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with his second win of the season here in 2025, and I believe Collin has the chops to repeat the same start to his year in 2026.
If not Morikawa, I would also consider playing Matt Fitzpatrick, Cameron Young, or Ludvig Aberg in OAD.
