The National Championship game is finally here as the men’s college basketball season comes to an end with the No. 2 UConn Huskies taking on the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines. Danny Hurley finds himself in yet another championship game, as the Huskies go for their third title in four years. Dusty May is looking to finally finish the job, coming close once with FAU a few years back.

Let’s go through the betting odds, lines, data and predictions for the Monday night clash between UConn and Michigan.

UConn vs. Michigan Betting Analysis

Two teams struggling mightily in the ATS markets entering March Madness now find themselves in the National Championship game and on ATS runs each. UConn is on a 4-0 ATS run after posing a terrible record this season that included an 4-13 ATS mark at home and a 4-8 ATS skid 12 games prior to the current 4-0 run. The Huskies are once again underdogs, a rare role for Hurley’s squad as this is just the third time all season UConn will be an underdog (2-0 ATS as an underdog).

The Huskies hit the Under against Illinois, the third time it has hit in UConn’s last four games while the Under has also hit for them in six of the last nine games. Michigan also enters the game on. 4-0 ATS run despite only posting a 7-6 ATS mark on neutral courts and a 4-7 ATS mark away from Ann Arbor. The Wolverines are 15-1 SU in their last 16 non-conference games but the 1-8 ATS skid prior to their current 4-0 run is worrisome. Michigan has also lost the 1H in five of six NCAA Tournament games against Top 4 seeds.

From a point total look, Michigan has cleared 152 total points in six straight games with just 144 on the board against UConn. Michigan has also gone Over the total in five of six games.
