2026 Wyndham Championship Odds, Picks, Predictions: Best Bets, Props, OAD
It’s the final week of the 2026 PGA Tour regular season, with stakes at an all-time high for the 2026 Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club. Only the top-70 players in the FedEx Cup Standings will advance to the first round of the playoffs in Memphis next week. As such, we’ll have a deep and motivated field teeing it up in Greensboro, North Carolina starting this Thursday.
The keys to success at the Wyndham Championship are about as straightforward as any event on the PGA Tour. A consistent profile of accurate drivers, elite short-iron approach players, and skilled putters on Bermuda greens has long been the formula for success here. Given the hyper-specific skill sets needed on this angular and positional venue, it’s a week where blanket recent form is not enough to handicap the contenders.
Ahead, we’ll run through all the bets I’ve placed for the 2026 Wyndham Championship.

How I Built My Wyndham Championship Betting Card
The favorites do not have a stellar track record at the Wyndham Championship. That is due in part to the lowered importance of preceding form, but more importantly, the vast number of players who possess the skill sets needed to excel here. Distance is not advantageous at Sedgefield Country Club, and accuracy is a commodity that can be found throughout this field. As such, I’ve built a longer card, hedging exposure across a diverse mix of players who have proven their game translates on short, positional tracks. Overall, I’ve prioritized players who lean on accuracy and putting as the strengths of their games.
From a unit allocation standpoint, it’s back to business as usual for my weekly stake at the 2026 Wyndham Championship.

Wyndham Championship Odds: Outright Bets (3.5 units)
Ben Griffin
My Bet: +2900
Any way you slice it, the trends and forces of the universe all favor Ben Griffin this week. He is going to win the 2026 Wyndham Championship.
Griffin is a North Carolina local, growing up in Chapel Hill and graduating from the University of North Carolina. Chapel Hill is within a one hour drive of Greensboro, a similar proximity which helped Wake Forest graduates Cameron Young and Webb Simpson capture their victories at this event. Lucas Glover, Kevin Kisner, and JT Poston also credited their ties to the greater Carolina area as beneficial when navigating such familiar agronomy. That familiarity has been evident for Ben Griffin thus far in his career, as he’s finished 4th, T7, and T11 over his first four Wyndham Championship starts. Griffin is trending well to keep that trend going, as he’s finished top-20 in seven of his last 10 starts leading in.
He is an ideal course fit for Sedgefield CC, ranking 5th overall in my model and top-10 across the key categories of SG: TOT (L36), SG: ARG, SG: P (L36 & Bermuda), and Comp Course History. Griffin’s elite putting skills has translated across all Donald Ross venues, not just Sedgefield CC. In 10 career starts across Ross’ Detroit Golf Club, Aronimink Golf Club, East Lake Golf Club, and Sedgefield Country Club, he has eight top-30 finishes and six top-15s. The time is now for Ben Griffin to claim his first win of 2026 after stacking three victories in 2025.
Alex Fitzpatrick
My Bet:+4500
The Fitzpatricks seem to have an affinity for their favorite, “home” courses. Matt has won twice at Harbour Town where he frequently vacationed in his childhood. Sedgefield Country Club may be the closest thing Alex has to a stateside “home” course. The Wake Forest graduate is looking to join the company of fellow alumni, Cameron Young and Webb Simpson, as winners of the Wyndham Championship just down the road from Winston-Salem.
Alex has impressed since earning full-time PGA Tour membership by winning the Zurich Classic alongside his brother; he has seven top-25 finishes over 10 PGA Tour starts this season. While making his Wyndham Championship debut this week, I expect he’ll like what he sees at Sedgefield, as he profiles as an accurate driver in elite approach form. He finished 4th at the Truist Championship the last time he competed in North Carolina.
Ben Kohles
My Bet:+6000
You could not draw up a better situation for Ben Kohles this week. The North Carolina native is currently playing the best golf of his career, with eight consecutive top-30 finishes between the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour, including a win at the MBW Charity Pro-Am. It takes a very specific profile to thrive at Sedgefield Country Club, and Kohles has it. He ranks 1st in SG: Ball Striking, 2nd in SG: APP, and 2nd in Driving Accuracy over the last 36 rounds.
That amounts to 9th overall in my model. Kohles has been a poor putter throughout his career, which has led to less-than-stellar results historically at this event. The flatstick has turned around for him this season, however, as Kohles has now gained on the greens in each of his last four starts. With two top-10s over that stretch, it is beginning to feel like now or never for Kohles to pick up his first career PGA Tour win.
Brian Harman
My Bet:+6200
Never known as the longest hitter on Tour, it is these kinds of short, positional courses that have allowed Harman to thrive throughout his long career. His history at Sedgefield Country Club has been mixed, but includes a pair of top-10 finishes. His preceding form has not always been the best this time of year, but Harman is absolutely trending at the moment. He’ll come to Sedgefield CC hot off a T3 finish at the 3M Open.
He is also currently in the midst of his best statistical season on approach, and ranks 12th in Prox: 100-150. Harman is always a reliable putter, especially on his preferred surface of Bermuda. He ranks 20th overall in my model, a credit to his top-15 ranks in Driving Accuracy, SG: TOT (L16). On such an ideal course fit, this is an appealing spot for Harman to keep the pedal down before the FedEx Cup Playoffs begin.
Ryo Hisatsune
My Bet: +7000
The Presidents Cup looms just one month away, and Ryo Hisatsune is on an inside track towards gaining his first career appearance for the International Team. It’s hard to believe the 2023 DP World Tour standout is younger than Michael Thorbjornsen, but at 23 years old, Hisatsune could very well continue the youth movement we’ve seen over the last couple of weeks. Hisatsune was a winner on the DP World Tour in 2023, but is still chasing his first career PGA Tour win. One of the closest calls of his career came right here in 2024, where Hisatsune finished T3 in his Wyndham Championship debut.
He’s been fantastic on short, positional courses all season, finishing top-15 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, The Players Championship, and the John Deere Classic. Ranking top-25 in Driving Accuracy, SG: Ball Striking (<7,200-yard courses), and Prox: 100-150, Hisatsune is a strong fit for Sedgefield CC.
Alex Smalley
My Bet:+7500
A Duke graduate who loves himself a Donald Ross course, Smalley is flying a little too far under the radar this week. This is as true a home game as they come for Smalley, who is a member at Sedgefield Country Club and will be sleeping in his own bed just three miles from this course. Smalley announced himself to the world as a surprise contender at Donald Ross’ Aronimink Golf Club, ultimately finishing T2 at the PGA Championship.
That is one of four top-10 finishes he’s posted over his last 10 starts. The form has sputtered of late, but Smalley remains consistent with his driving accuracy, approach play, and putting. That is what matters most at Sedgefield Country Club, and having stayed local over the last three weeks since The Open, I expect him to look recharged this week. He’ll look to improve on a career-best T13 finish here in 2022.
Michael Kim
My Bet: +7800
In the final week of the PGA Tour regular season, this is typically not the time a player is going to suddenly find his game. Fortunately for Michael Kim, he found his two weeks ago, and now comes to Greensboro as one of the hottest players in this field. Kim has finished T10 and T8 in his last two starts at the 3M Open and Rocket Classic, leaning on his accurate ball striking and hot putter throughout this heater. That is the formula needed once more at Sedgefield CC, which rewards the best putters year-over-year, so this sets up to be a great spot for Kim to keep the pedal down heading into the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
Kim’s history at the Wyndham Championship leaves plenty to be desired, but he flashed his potential here with a T5 finish in 2023. Profiling below Tour average in driving distance, Sedgefield CC presents a rare opportunity for Kim to not be disadvantaged by his lack of distance. He’ll look to claim his second career PGA Tour win this week, with his first coming on a similar short, positional venue at TPC Deere Run.
Emiliano Grillo
My Bet: +9500
Like Michael Kim, Grillo has saved his best golf for last, finishing top-30 in each of his last five starts. That includes a strong T7 showing at the 3M Open just two weeks ago. It may be too little, too late for Grillo, however, as he’ll need a top-10 finish for a chance to climb inside the top-70 of the FedEx Cup standings. With the way he’s playing now, however, I don’t think that’s out of the question. Grillo’s turnaround is directly a credit to his improved putting, as he’s gained on the greens in each of his last five starts. That is a highly encouraging sign leading into the Wyndham Championship, where putting is of premium importance.
Like Ryo Hisatsune, Grillo’s strong recent play has also put himself on a short list of International Team hopefuls for the upcoming Presidents Cup team. I believe he’s already done enough to earn a spot on the team with slim pickings around him, but he’ll most definitely be motivated to make it an easy choice for captain Ogilvy. The 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge winner has long thrived on short, positional venues that place a premium on accuracy. He ranks 5th in SG: TOT over the last 16 rounds, and top-20 in terms of both Driving Accuracy and SG: Ball Striking.
Davis Chatfield
My Bet:+30000
Long shots are very viable at the tournament Jim Herman won just six years ago. A premium on accuracy and complete disregard for distance can absolutely open up the playing field for a specialist like Davis Chatfield. A standout on the Korn Ferry Tour last season, Chatfield was a late bloomer acclimating to PGA Tour competition in his rookie season. He seems to be settling in now, however, as he’s finished top-35 in four of his last five statts, including two top-16 finishes over that span.
Chatfield is elite in three areas, and they happen to be the three areas that matter most at Sedgefield Country Club: Driving Accuracy (12th), SG: Approach (25th), and SG: Putting (10th). We have seen accurate plodders like Kevin Kisner, JT Poston, and Tom Kim channel those same three areas of their game to win this event, so don’t be surprised if Chatfield is the next longshot approach marksman to pop at Sedgefield CC.
Wyndham Championship Bets: First-Round Leader (0.5 units)
Aaron Rai
My Bet: +4500
It’s been a minute since we’ve had the opportunity to back Aaron Rai on a Thursday, as he’s set to make his first start since The Open this week. Rai has already won this season on a Donald Ross course, shining at Aronimink in his PGA Championship victory. He now returns to the friendly confines of his first career PGA Tour win. Sedgefield is an ideal fit for Rai’s game, and he’s finished T5 and 1st in his last two visits to Sedgefield CC.
Michael Kim
My Bet:+6000
Mr. 59 has no issue going low at an easy golf course, and he remains one of the hottest players in the field this week, fresh off back-to-back top-10 finishes at the 3M Open and Rocket Classic. Putting skill is important at any Donald Ross course, and that has been the strength of Kim’s game of late. The ball striking has been hot too, making this an appealing heat check spot for the most popular pro on X.
Alex Smalley
My Bet: +7000
One thing is for sure: Smalley will waste no time acclimating to this course, having total familiarity as a member at Sedgefield Country Club. Smalley’s struggles have come over the weekend, but this course should play to his strengths of driving accuracy, approach consistency, and putting skill.
Emiliano Grillo
My Bet: +7000
The correlation between success at Sedgefield CC and Detroit Golf Club has always been very high, and now that the two events are positioned back-to-back on the schedule, it sets up to be a great week for a player like Grillo to keep the pedal down. Grillo has nwo finished top-30 in each of his last five starts. He looks confident with his putter now – which is not always the case with Grillo – so if his form holds on the greens, he has a great opportunity to go low this Thursday.
Denny McCarthy
My Bet: +8000
Great putters have an edge on Donald Ross courses, and Denny has proven that at the Wyndham Championship throughout his career. He has three top-15 finishes here over his last six visits, and may be on his way to another given his current form. His putter remains sharp as ever, and has carried him to two top-15 finishes over his last five starts.
Wyndham Championship Picks: Props (2.5 units)
Full Tournament Matchup: Emiliano Grillo over Nick Taylor
My Bet: -110
In this matchup between two players who find themselves squarely on the Presidents Cup bubble for the International squad, I feel significantly better about the state of Grillo’s game. Grillo is peaking at the right time now, carrying a streak of five consecutive top-30 finishes into this week. He has always played positional courses well by leaning on the strengths of his driving accuracy and approach play, but it’s the putter that’s propelled him over this current heater.
For Taylor, it’s been nothing but the putter keeping him afloat. He ranks 97th in SG: T2G over the last 36 rounds, compared to Grillo, who ranks 28th in the same category. With both the recent form and course fit edge, I feel great about Grillo in this matchup.
Top-20 Finish: Ben Kohles
My Bet: +280
There are valid concerns about Kohles’ ability to close a PGA Tour event on Sunday, suffering some tough late collapses with a chance to win both the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and John Deere Classic. So while he may be a perfect fit for Sedgefield Country Club on paper, I feel the need to hedge my outright exposure with some top-20 insurance, should he suffer the same fate again down the stretch on Sunday. Kohles has been automatic this summer, finishing top-20 in four of his last five starts.
Top-10 Finish: Ben Griffin
My Bet: +305
Contrary to the Kohles play, this is not a hedge. My expectation is for Ben Griffin to win the 2026 Wyndham Championship, so this top-10 placement is merely a doubling down on that assertion. Griffin’s game is tailor-made for Sedgefield Country Club, and he’s proven that with finishes of 4th, T7, and T11 here over his last four visits. His form remains solid this year, with three top-20s over his last five starts.
One & Done
My Pick: Alex Fitzpatrick
Unfortunately, I used Ben Griffin just one week ago at the Rocket Classic, which is the only reason he is not my OAD choice this week. If you still have him, you should use him, as he is my official pick to win this week. Second place pays pretty well too though, and that’s what Alex Fitzpatrick will be playing for in Greensboro. That’s not too far from home for him, as he played his college golf right down the road at Wake Forest. A proven winner on Bermuda greens at the Zurich Classic, I expect Fitzpatrick’s putting to turn a corner this week. If it does, the rest of his game profiles perfectly to attack this positional venue.
If not Fitzpatrick, I would also consider playing Jackson Koivun, Ben Griffin, or Brian Harman in OAD.
