What looked like a promising rebuild, Seattle quickly disbanded most of the big names on the roster. This team is headed for a bottom of the division finish. The rotation is struggling to find any sort of relevance. They have pieced together starting pitchers that are more looking for a second or even third chance in this league. Justus Sheffield was the bigger piece who came over in the James Paxton trade, and he will be in the rotation this season. The offense has a few notable names, but a lot of guys won’t be here long. They lack a real first baseman threat, and most of the power positions lack that. Kyle Seager is still the face of the Seattle franchise, as he has been here the longest at this point. Mitch Haniger survived the trading season, and is the top bat in the order, Seager is a close second though.
