2026 FedEx St Jude Championship: Top DraftKings Showdown Plays & Live Bets Ahead of Round 4

The 2026 FedEx St Jude Championship has reached the final round, with TPC Southwind offering a fair test to the field, reward great shots and penalizing misfires.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has seen his lead dwindle down to 2 strokes after a Saturday 68. At 13-under-par, it may be a three-man race going into Sunday, as Sam Burns (-11) and Sungjae Im (-11) are the only players within four strokes of Scheffler’s lead.

Looking ahead, we have new data at our disposal to adjust our approach in DFS formats before Round 4 gets underway on Saturday. Conditions have been clear and breezy thus far, but the course will continue to get firmer as the week goes on. Ahead, we’ll look to identify the players who have shown they are most due for a Round 4 breakout.

Take a look at some of the best pillar players for the 2026 FedEx St Jude Championship DFS contests and live betting opportunities.

DraftKings Showdown Golf Strategy

DraftKings Golf Showdown Golf is a one-round Daily Fantasy format in which players aim to construct the best-scoring one-round lineup while staying within the allotted salary cap. To identify value in Golf Showdown, it’s typically best to focus on buy-low opportunities on players who’ve shown uncharacteristically poor putting in the prior round. There is also an opportunity to find leverage by identifying favorable weather splits and players who are more likely to card birdies-or-better.

Round 4 FedEx St Jude Championship Showdown Pillar Plays

As expected, ball-striking form and Bermuda putting skill have prevailed through the opening round at TPC Southwind. Much like last week at Sedgefield CC, this is a venue that can be attacked from the fairway by trending wedge players. As one of the purest positional courses on the PGA Tour, we’ve also seen a steep penalty for wayward misfires here, whether it be the ample water hazards, tight tree lines, or penal Bermuda rough. That places a heightened importance on driving accuracy and ball-striking, as the leaders have displayed in the opening round. Looking ahead, it is going to take a combination of driving accuracy, elite iron play, and a streaky putter to go low at TPC Southwind.

Identifying value players who check each of these boxes can provide valuable bonus points in the DraftKings Showdown format. The three players below will be foundational plays in my Round 4 Showdown lineups for these reasons.

Sam Burns ($10,400)

The hottest golfer in the world right now may be Sam Burns, and a trip to TPC Southwind’s Bermuda setup has not halted his momentum. He has three top-4 finishes over his last five starts, including a 2nd place finish at the U.S. Open and 3rd place finish in his most recent start at The Open.

Burns ranked 2nd overall in my model leading into this week behind only Scottie Scheffler, and now the two pals will play alongside each other in the final pairing on Sunday. He has been spectacular through three rounds, ranking 7th in terms of both SG: T2G and SG: Putting. Burns has gotten himself plenty of experience playing late on Sunday, and is as eager as any player in this field to put his demons to rest and finally convert his first win since 2023.

Rickie Fowler ($7,700)

It has been a very underrated 2026 season for Fowler, who has done enough to qualify for East Lake, if the season were to end today. He’s done well to main his position thus far, as at T22 for the week, he projects to remain inside the top-30 as everything currently stands. It has been a season of runs for Fowler, but he’s hot at the right time now with finishes of T15, T18, and T8 over his last three starts. His best results this season have come on similar Bermuda courses, posting a stretch of three consecutive top-10 finishes earlier this season at the RBC Heritage (T8), Cadillac Championship (T9), and Truist Championship (T2).

It’s been more of the same this week, as Fowler ranks 11th in SG: Ball Striking, 12th in SG: Approach, and 21st in SG: Putting. Those are the three most important categories at TPC Southwind, and with the confidence he’s built over the first three rounds, I expect a strong final round from him on Sunday.

Brian Harman ($7,000)

Approach form is mandatory for contenders at TPC Southwind, and none in the field have been better than Harman through the first three rounds. He’d flashed promise with his form leading in too, with an impressive T3 finish two starts ago at the 3M Open.

In addition to ranking first in SG: APP, he also leads the field in SG: T2G. It’s very uncharacteristic to see Harman struggle this much on the greens (62nd SG: Putting), especially when playing on his preferred surface of Bermuda. Assuming he regresses back to the mean on the greens in his final round, Harman is positioned well to push inside the top-5, as he’ll head into the final round at T6, 7-under-par.

Live Bets To Consider Entering Round 4

To Win Outright: Sam Burns

Best Available odds: +440

Michael Brennan proved to us at the Wyndham Championship that there is valuable experience to be gained from repeated close calls late on Sunday. I don’t quite believe Sam Burns has forgotten how to win, even if his has been three years since his last PGA Tour victory. Burns will have a comfortable pairing on Sunday, playing alongside his best mate, Scottie Scheffler, so he’ll know exactly what he needs to do all day to erase his 2-stroke deficit.

You can’t expect the World No. 1 to fall backwards on Sunday, which means Burns is one of very few players within range of catching him.

Top 10 Finisher: Patrick Cantlay

Best Available odds: +142

The king of the backdoor finish, Cantlay has put himself in his comfort zone after three rounds at the FedEx St Jude Championship. At T13, 5-under-par, he’s too far back of Scheffler to have any legitimate hopes of winning this event, but is fully capable of pushing himself inside the top-10.

In true Cantlay fashion, he’s been good, but not great, across the board at TPC Southwing. He ranks top-30 in Driving Distance, Driving Accuracy, SG: APP, SG: ARG, and SG: Putting through three rounds. That sets the stage for a high floor as we head into the final round.

Best of luck with your Fedex St. Jude Championship DFS lineups and bets!
