A heavyweight showdown between two of the NFC’s best is on tap at Lumen Field on Monday night, as Ben Johnson’s high-powered Bears faces off with a formidable Seahawks defense on its home turf.
Chicago added another key piece for its Super Bowl quest by trading for standout defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons earlier in the week, while Seattle looks to build on a dominant win over the Chiefs on Sunday night and improve to 4-1 at home.

Without further ado, let’s dive into three player props to consider for Monday Night Football action. Be sure to check out our NFL betting trends page for data and odds on every game.
Bears-Seahawks Best NFL Week 8 Player Props
- Zach Charbonnet Over 43.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
- Caleb Williams Under 224.5 Passing Yards
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 97.5 Receiving Yards
Zach Charbonnet Over Rushing + Receiving Yards
With quality units on both sides of the ball on either sideline, we’re going to have to lean into some uncertainty with our props this week. We’re undoubtedly doing that with Charbonnet, who’ll be seeing his first game action since tearing his ACL in a divisional-round win over the 49ers back in January. The Seahawks were very careful with Charbonnet’s recovery, and he’s now garnered active status after proving his health with multiple weeks of practice.
Charbonnet is almost certainly going to see heavier workloads in coming weeks, but he should have a solid role right out of the gate Monday. The versatile veteran is always in play for multiple targets, as Charbonnet is an outstanding receiver out of the backfield who’s produced a 95-693-1 receiving line over his first three seasons despite operating in a part-time role and has averaged 50.1 rushing + receiving yards per contest in 49 career regular-season contests.
The Bears have allowed 4.3 yards per carry to running backs, although Simmons should make an immediate impact in shoring things up. However, Chicago has also conceded a 26-247-2 receiving line to running backs on an 83.8% catch rate. Given what should be a competitive matchup, Charbonnet should have opportunity to cash the Over here even while still splitting snaps with Emanuel Wilson.

Caleb Williams Under Passing Yards
Williams has shown clear progress in Johnson’s scheme in this, his second season operating the offense. Williams completion rate is all the way up to a career-best 71.0%, and he’s thrown for at least 269 yards in three of the four games he’s suited up for. Nevertheless, the challenge in front of him Monday night is one that’s very similar a Week 2 matchup against a Vikings defense that led to Williams’ worst performance of the season, a 138-yard effort through the air where he also completed a season-low 57.7% of his throws before exiting with a hamstring injury late.
The Seahawks have allowed a very modest 62.7% completion rate to QBs, and last week, they made Patrick Mahomes look positively ordinary while limiting him to 19 completions and a 57.6% completion rate on his way to a middling 165-yard night. Seattle is now conceding just 18.3 completions per contest over the last three, and no team entering Week 8 had a stingier figure than the Seahawks’ 7.6 yards per completion allowed.
Seattle is giving up only 158.0 passing yards per game to QBs overall, so it’s completely conceivably they limit Williams to under this number.

Jaxson Smith-Njigba Over Receiving Yards
The yardage prop on JSN speaks to the fact he’s in the thick of another otherworldly season after already posting a 119-1,793-10 line over 17 regular-season contests a year ago. JSN is up to a 58-867-8 tally through only seven games this season, essentially putting him in pace to eclipse last year’s numbers while reaping the benefits of working with Sam Darnold for a second straight season.
JSN’s volume is about as guaranteed as any receiver in the league, and he’s logged double-digit targets in all but two games thus far. Smith-Njigba has 100-plus-yard efforts in all but one contest as well, and he’s now facing a Bears defense that’s surrendered a bloated 15.8 yards per catch to wide receivers. Chicago is giving up a league-high 13.5 yards per completion on the road as well, further underscoring its struggles preventing chunk plays through the air.
Finally, it’s worth noting Smith-Njigba’s 11.1 yards per target tie his career high, and his 3.72 yards per route run and 74.4% catch rate are both new personal bests.
