With that in mind, it’s a rock-solid game environment for touchdown props. Find out why I’m on Luther Burden III and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Luther Burden III Touchdown Odds
Luther Burden III came into the year with a ton of hype. After a slow start, he’s firmly establishing himself as the top target for the Bears. The second-year wideout’s talent jumps off the screen whenever he has the ball in his hands. He’s coming off a huge game against the Patriots, where he hauled in all four of his targets for 130 yards and a touchdown.
With 90+ yards in his last two games, Burden is rolling right now. He’s separating himself from the pack in the Bears’ pecking order.
While the Seahawks are tough against the pass, ranking 3rd in Dropback EPA, this gives us a bit of a discount on Burden. We can get him at longer than +200 odds at the time of this article. That’s exactly what you want when going with a team’s top target.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Touchdown Odds
We’ve run out of superlatives to describe Jaxon Smith-Njigba. This is a route-running technician with a quick release off the line and the ability to separate from the best defenders. He can win underneath or downfield. Whether he’s in the slot or on the perimeter, JSN can make it happen. Simply put, this is the best wide receiver in the NFL right now.
So far this year, JSN has put up 58 catches for 867 yards and eight touchdowns. He’s found the end zone in five of seven games. In two of those games, he’s had multiple touchdowns.
In a game against the Bears that could turn into a shootout that comes down to the wire, it’s the ideal game environment for JSN. That’s why getting him at only -110 odds at the time of this article feels like a sweet deal.
