Game Betting Analysis
There isn’t a lot to trust with either team in this game, so we’ll head to the player prop market. There are a handful to pick from, but we’re going to take a risk and go with CeeDee Lamb to score a touchdown at plus-value, doing so in four straight road games when facing a team under .500 at night. With Dallas desperate, expect the offense to go after their playmakers in Lamb and George Pickens. Pickens has also hit 70 yards in four straight games, given plus-value to do so if you have more faith in him to produce that total over Lamb finding the end zone. Saquon Barkley is supposed to suit up for the Eagles and has hit 80 yards in five of six divisional home games, while Tanner McKee has hit 215 passing yards in his last three games as a starter – both going up against a terrible Cowboys’ defense.

Deciding Factor: Dallas’s Shaky Offense vs. an Eagles Depleted Passing Attack
Dallas enters Monday night as 4.5-point road favorites, but that number has already fallen a full point from the opening -5.5 because the Cowboys’ offense has looked genuinely broken the last two weeks. Dak Prescott has posted back-to-back games under a 70.0 passer rating, capped by a 258-yard, 1-touchdown, 2-interception performance on 54 attempts in a 23-13 loss to Green Bay in which Dallas was shut out 17-0 in the first half, managed just 48 rushing yards on 3.2 yards per carry, and was outgained 318-303 despite controlling the ball for longer. One of those interceptions came when CeeDee Lamb slipped out of his break on what should have been a safe completion, even though Lamb still leads the NFL in catches (48) and sits third in receiving yards (577). The Cowboys also failed on fourth-and-2 and fourth-and-11 on their final two possessions and needed a two-point conversion that didn’t come to tie it late. If that version of the Cowboys offense, turnover-prone, unable to run, shut out for entire halves, shows up again in Philadelphia, a Dallas defense that already ranks 31st in EPA per play and has allowed the most rushing yards in the league (149.8 per game) won’t have much margin for error against a desperate home team.
The Eagles, meanwhile, have even less to work with on the other side of the ball. Jalen Hurts is done for the season after blood clots formed in his lungs, handing the offense to Tanner McKee, who made his first career start last week and finished 26-of-45 for just 215 yards and a touchdown while taking three sacks in a 25-14 loss to Carolina, Philadelphia’s fourth straight defeat. That outing came with the Eagles managing only 222 net yards, the second-lowest total of their season, and a offense that has scored a combined six points across six third quarters all season, the fewest in the NFL, to go with a league-worst 39.1% three-and-out rate. Now McKee enters his second start with an even thinner receiver room: DeVonta Smith, who caught his only touchdown pass against Carolina, is out with a hamstring injury, Dontayvion Wicks is out with an ankle injury, and Saquon Barkley is questionable after missing the last two games with a hamstring issue of his own, having averaged just 5.8 fantasy points per game even when healthy this season. Dallas’s pass defense has been bad all year, but it’s also getting healthier at exactly the right time, with Cobie Durant (hamstring) trending toward his return at cornerback after a four-game absence and DeMarvion Overshown back at linebacker after missing five games. If McKee is throwing to a depleted receiver room behind an offense that already can’t sustain drives, Dallas’s own offensive struggles likely won’t matter enough to keep the Cowboys from leaving Philadelphia with a much-needed win.
