Top TD Picks: CeeDee Lamb & Saquon Barkley
We’ve got an NFC East rivalry game on tap for Week 7 Monday Night Football between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys are coming off an abysmal showing on the road against the Packers. They’ve now lost two games in a row. Meanwhile, the Eagles are adjusting to life without Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season with a blood clot. The Eagles are home underdogs here in a projected low-scoring matchup.

With that said, it wouldn’t surprise me if this is a close game that comes down to the wire. Saquon Barkley is likely to return for the Eagles, and I expect Philly to lean on him here to ease the pressure off McKee at quarterback. As for the Cowboys, CeeDee Lamb continues to dominate targets, so he’s my preferred choice in anytime touchdown props.
CeeDee Lamb Touchdown Odds
CeeDee Lamb is having a terrific season for the Cowboys, catching 48-of-69 targets for 577 yards and four touchdowns in six games. We’ve seen him get 18+ targets in two of the last three games, which is simply absurd volume. In a projected low-scoring game vs the Eagles, look for the Cowboys to continue to lean on their alpha WR1.
We’re getting a reasonable price on Lamb at +120 odds at the time of this article, making him worth a look considering his heavy volume. We just saw Panthers’ wideouts Tetairoa McMillan (86 yards) and Jalen Coker (97 yards) put up big production vs. the Eagles, so there’s a reasonable chance that Lamb can do something similar.
Considering these circumstances, Lamb looks like the best play on the board on the Cowboys side. Javonte Williams is too expensive, while George Pickens has taken a bit of a backseat in this offense this year. Ride with Lamb to score his fifth TD of the season here.
Saquon Barkley Touchdown Odds
Saquon Barkley hasn’t been his usual self for the Eagles this season, rushing 36 times for 182 yards, but he’s quietly been efficient at 5.1 yards per carry. Saquon has yet to find the end zone this year, but now that Jalen Hurts isn’t taking away scores with the tush push, perhaps that will change.
We saw Barkley have some solid games vs. the Commanders (15 ATT, 83 YDS) and Bears (15 ATT, 82 YDS). Then, he dealt with injuries vs the Titans and Rams. Now that he’s ready to return, I’m expecting the Eagles to lean on him to make life easier for Tanner McKee.
We’ve seen the Cowboys get gashed on the ground all year long, most recently by Bucky Irving in Week 5 Thursday Night Football. We could see something similar with Saquon here. With Hurts sidelined, we’re getting a bit of a discount on Saquon at +110 odds, making him worth a look in this spot.
