👑 Freddy Peralta TB/SP/MVP ($17,100)
Fresh off being dealt from the Mets to Tampa Bay, Peralta has been nothing short of brilliant on this stage — his lone ALCS start was a gem, 6 shutout innings against this same Guardians lineup with 6 strikeouts and just 4 hits allowed, exactly the swing-and-miss profile you want wearing the captain’s crown.
Victor Mesa, Jr.- TB/UTIL ($6,800)
DFA’d by Miami back in February before Tampa Bay flipped a minor-league infielder to acquire him, Mesa has turned into an October story — his go-ahead, two-run homer off Max Fried in ALDS Game 3 sent the Rays to this series, proof he can change a game with one swing.
Chandler Simpson – TB/UTIL ($6,600)
The AL’s stolen-base king led the league with 46 steals in 2026 to go with a .306 average, the second-best mark in the AL — a correlated, high-floor source of hits and stolen-base points at the top of Tampa Bay’s order even without any home-run pop.
Chase DeLauter – CLE/UTIL ($8,600)
Cleveland’s AL Rookie of the Month for July hit .287 with 15 homers and 65 RBI in his debut season, and he’s already made his mark in this series, driving in runs alongside José Ramírez in the Guardians’ Game 1 win.
Taylor Walls – TB/UTIL ($4,400)
Walls was the defensive story of Game 5 — a spinning stop up the middle and a strong throw nabbed Petey Halpin at first to end the fifth inning, a game-saving play that helped Drew Rasmussen and the Rays close out a 3-1 win and move one victory from the World Series. That’s exactly the kind of difference-making glove work that keeps him in the lineup, and at just $4,400, he’s a cheap way to roster a player who’s already proven he can swing a tight postseason game without needing to hit.
Brayan Rocchio – CLE/UTIL ($5,800)
Cleveland’s everyday shortstop posted a well-rounded .253/15 HR/73 RBI/20 SB line in 2026, giving him a rare power-speed combo for a $5,800 price tag near the bottom of this Showdown pool.
