Home Run Prop Predictions & Odds: MLB HR Best Bets for Monday, October 19th
Victor Mesa Jr
The Rays’ hottest power bat of this postseason — a go-ahead two-run homer off Max Fried sent Tampa Bay to the ALCS in ALDS Game 3, and he went deep again just days later as the Rays completed their sweep of the Yankees. He’s in the lineup tonight in right field against a Cleveland bullpen game with no true ace lined up.
Chase DeLauter
Cleveland’s 15-homer rookie has been the most consistent bat in this entire series, driving in a run in three straight games and setting the tone in Cleveland’s Game 1 win alongside José Ramírez. The matchup is tough — he’s facing a Freddy Peralta who tossed six shutout innings against this exact lineup in Game 2 — but DeLauter’s been locked in all series and is the Guardians’ best bet to produce a big swing even against a quality arm.
Jonathan Aranda
A 22-homer season gives him more raw power than anyone else in this lineup, and he’s riding the hottest bat on either roster right now — a 3-for-4, two-RBI night in Game 4 that helped force this series to a Game 6. Facing a Cleveland bullpen game, Aranda is squarely in form at the right time.
