The Brewers clawed their way to a 2-0 series lead with a comeback victory Saturday night, and the series now shifts south for an absolute must-win affair of a Game 3 for the Rays. Tampa Bay does seemingly enjoy the starting pitching advantage, as Robert Gasser will face off with Freddy Peralta for the hosts.

Best MLB World Series Player Props
- Cooper Pratt Over 0.5 Singles
- Yandy Diaz Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
Cooper Pratt Over Singles
While the idea of Peralta putting together a stellar start overall wouldn’t surprise in the least, there’s certainly some scrappy, talented hitters on the Brewers’ side of the equation. Pratt certainly qualifies as one after having forged a .281 average and .718 OPS as a rookie. Pratt provided an extremely well-rounded stat line that included 19 stolen bases, as well as 52 singles out of 68 total hits.
Pratt doesn’t pack much power, so a base knock is the likeliest outcome whenever he does hit safely. His 9.0% walk rate and 18.0% strikeout rate both underscore his plate discipline, particularly by rookie standards. Additionally, Pratt 26.6% line-drive rate during the regular season was well above average and helps explain his ability to frequently get balls to drop in. To top it off, he’s had a rock-solid postseason, contributing a .286 average over 37 plate appearances while lacing nine of his 10 hits for singles.

Yandy Diaz Over Hits + Runs + RBI
Diaz has followed up an excellent regular season with plenty of postseason production, delivering plenty of big hits througout each series. He’s had a poor start to the World Series overall by going 1-for-9 with three strikeouts, but that only ups the chances of an imminent resurgence, given Diaz’s talent. Additionally, Diaz was at his best at home by far during the regular season, where he posted a .318 average and .920 OPS, along with 2.5 hits + runs + RBI per game.
Diaz’s matchup against Gasser could certainly lead to some success, as he posted a .306 average and .390 wOBA against southpaws at home during the campaign. Gasser pitched to a .278 BAA and .358 wOBA against righties on the road during the 2026 regular season, a sample where he allowed seven doubles and seven homers among the 40 hits that he conceded.
