The Brewers were just three outs from their first World Series title Tuesday night, but the Rays fought back to edge out a 4-3, 12-inning win and live to fight another day.
The Brewers have announced Jacob Misiorowski as their Game 5 starter, while the Rays have yet to identify who they’ll hand the ball to but would seem likely to land on Nick Martinez based on the rotation pacing this series.
However, with Milwaukee and Tampa Bay having utilized seven and six pitchers, respectively, after starters Dustin May and Griffin Jax exited Tuesday, a game that features some offense in its latter portions seems like it has a good chance of unfolding.

Best MLB World Series Player Props
- William Contreras Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (FanDuel Sportsbook)
- Cooper Pratt Over 0.5 Singles (FanDuel Sportsbook)
William Contreras Over Hits + Runs + RBI
Contreras let us down in Game 4 with an 0-for-4 night that saw him get on base only via a walk, but prior to Tuesday, he was carrying a .419 average and 1.141 OPS across 49 plate appearances this postseason. Contreras’ hitless performance was only his third over 12 postseason games, and he’s churned out three-hit games after each of the first two.
Contreras went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk while facing Martinez to open Game 1, and even if Tampa Bay rolls out a different pitcher to open Wednesday’s contest, Contreras will eventually get his crack at a tired Tampa Bay bullpen. He’s averaged 2.7 hits + runs + RBI per game during Milwaukee’s playoff run, so despite Tuesday’s dud, this is a viable prop with the Brew Crew getting another chance to garner their first championship.

Cooper Pratt Over Singles
Pratt was the offensive star for Milwaukee in Game 4, going 4-for-5 a two singles, a double, a home run, two RBI and a run. The impressive rookie’s fourth multi-hit effort of the postseason pushed his slash line since the end of the regular season to a sizzling .333/.362/.467, and Pratt now has 15 hits, 11 of those going for singles.
Pratt was a rock-solid contact hitter during the regular season, particularly by rookie standards, and he’s kept that up for the most part during the postseason by going down on strikes a modest nine times in 47 plate appearances. Pratt doesn’t typically pack much power, so a single is still the likeliest outcome every time he gets on base safely. Once again, we’re also banking on Pratt having a chance to face some fatigued relievers, which will up his chances of lacing at least one base knock.
