2026 NBA Draft Top Prospects & No. 1 Pick Odds

Below is a list of the top NBA Draft prospects, considered the deepest pool of talent since 1996.

AJ Dybantsa (BYU)

No. 1 Pick Odds:

It seems like that Dybantsa is heading to Washington, fitting in nicely with what the team needs. The Wizards are set, on paper, with the front court as Anthony Davis and Alex Sarr are more than enough to anchor the paint. Kyshawn George and Trae Young provide a nice backcourt for the Wizards while Sharife Cooper, Justin Champagnie and Bub Carrington will rotate nicely around Dybantsa.

Two questions for Washington include: Do they take Darryn Peterson instead? Can Davis and Young play enough games around the young talent to elevate this team into a Play-In contender? While the consideration for Peterson is natural, he missed as much time in college as both Davis and Young miss regularly. Expect Washington to take Dybantsa who can come in and produce immediately.

Darryn Peterson (Kansas)

No. 1 Pick Odds:

Peterson at No. 2 is a real question mark, as he could go first to Washington while the Jazz might take baby Boozer and roll with family ties. The Jazz have a deep and successful history with Carlos Boozer, so taking his kid makes way too much sense at number two. If Peterson doesn’t go first, he will likely fall here if Utah has any desire to recreate history with Carlos, Jr.

Does he go to Memphis? If that happens then the Chicago Bulls might end up with Caleb Wilson on their laps, unexpectedly.

Cameron Boozer (Duke)

No. 1 Pick Odds:

As mentioned, it seems to make too much sense to see Boozer go second to Utah. Assuming he doesn’t, however, the Grizzlies hold the third pick and could take either Caleb Wilson or Darius Acuff, Jr. instead. Boozer has a chance to fall in this draft, but if he doesn’t go second then it is a free fall of teams that could select him or pass on him.

Caleb Wilson (UNC)

No. 1 Pick Odds:

It’s unlikely he goes past number 4, as Chicago and even Memphis are solid contenders to take Wilson. Some pundits have him as the number one prospect in this draft, but with the Bulls trading Coby White away they are looking for a ball handler who can score. This will also help take pressure of Josh Giddey who is leaned on heavily when healthy.

Darius Acuff, Jr. (Arkansas)

No. 1 Pick Odds:

Picks No. 5 – No. 7 seem likley landing spots of Acuff, Jr. despite the Atlanta Hawks potentially trading up from No. 8 to try and land him. Acuff Jr would pair nicely with Jalen Johnson, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and an upgrade ball handler from Dyson Daniels. However, Brooklyn seems unlikely to trade down with needs across the board. The Nets aren’t a bad look but also expect Atlanta to push past Brooklyn and trade with the Clippers who could pass on a few guards at this position based on the trade for Darius Garland.

Kingston Flemings (Houston)

No. 1 Pick Odds:

Flemings is very unlikely to find his name in the Top 3 picks, possibly outside the Top 5 which makes a lot of sense based on talent in front. However, the Hawks might elect to wait back and see if Flemings falls instead of an aggressive trade up for Acuff, Jr. Also, Sacramento is a big factor with these guards in the number 7 pick slot. The Kings have some developed talent with Maxine Raynaud, so depending on the direction they want to go building around him will dictate a guard selection or not.
