Kylian Mbappe 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis

Golden Boot Odds:
Most Assists Odds:

Kylian Mbappe and France enter the 2026 World Cup as favorites to win the tournament after finishing as runners-up in 2022. Mbappe is the favorite to win his second consecutive Golden Boot, after scoring eight goals in the previous tournament.

The Frenchman is coming off a strong season at Real Madrid, scoring 42 goals with six assists in 44 matches. Real Madrid’s player of the season won the Golden Boot in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League this season, and is now +575 to win it at the 2026 World Cup. Mbappe is also tied as the favorite to win the Golden Ball, awarded to the tournament’s most outstanding player, at +800.

The 27-year-old will headline a stacked French attack alongside reigning Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele and breakout star Michael Olise. Didier Deschamps’ expected front three combined for 126 goal contributions for their clubs this season.

Mbappe is set to play in his third World Cup, having scored 12 goals and added two assists in 14 prior matches. Les Bleus will begin the tournament in Group I alongside Senegal, Iraq, and Norway. France is a heavy favorite to win Group I at -230.

Harry Kane 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis

Golden Boot Odds:
Most Assists Odds:

Harry Kane enters the 2026 World Cup coming off the best season of his career, scoring 61 goals with seven assists in 51 matches at Bayern Munich. The 32-year-old will now play in his third World Cup, having won the Golden Boot in 2018. England’s all-time top scorer has the second-lowest odds to win the award again at +700.

Kane spearheaded a trophy-filled season for the German giants, winning the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal. He will now look to bring that same form to the Three Lions, who are in search of their first World Cup title since 1966. England has the third-lowest odds to lift the trophy at +600.

The English national team will hope to improve on their 2022 quarterfinal exit. Kane and company will be playing their first major tournament under recently appointed German manager Thomas Tuchel, who took charge following England’s 2-1 defeat to Spain in the 2024 Euros.

Expect Kane’s strong club form to carry over when he takes the pitch for his country. Kane and England are placed in a difficult Group L alongside Croatia, Ghana, and Panama. England is a heavy favorite to win the group at -260.

Erling Haaland 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis

Golden Boot Odds:
Most Assists Odds: n/a

Football fans around the world are eager to see Erling Haaland participate in his first World Cup this summer. Haaland and Norway qualified for the 2026 World Cup after a 28-year absence from the competition.

The 25-year-old has been one of the most dominant players in club football over the past few seasons, which makes his international debut on the biggest stage all the more anticipated. Haaland finished this season with 38 goals and nine assists in 52 matches for Manchester City, marking the seventh consecutive season in which he has scored 29 or more goals for his club.

Despite limited international appearances, Haaland has performed exceptionally well for Norway. He debuted in 2019 and is already the country’s all-time top scorer with 55 goals in just 49 appearances.

Haaland has the third-shortest odds to win the Golden Boot at +1200, though his chances are likely affected by Norway’s tough group draw alongside France and Senegal. Should Norway fail to advance out of Group I, Haaland’s opportunities to add to his tally could be limited.

Lamine Yamal 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis

Golden Boot Odds:
Most Assists Odds:

Spain’s most exciting young talent will have the world’s attention in his first World Cup this summer. Lamine Yamal has risen to superstardom at just 18 years old and now has a chance to showcase his talent on the biggest stage in football.

Yamal made his debut for Spain in 2023 and played a key role in La Roja’s 2024 Euro title at just 17. The winger was integral to Barcelona winning back-to-back La Liga titles, despite his season being cut short by injury.

Spain fans feared Yamal might miss the 2026 World Cup after suffering a left hamstring tear in late April. As of now, he is expected to be fit for the tournament, and oddsmakers anticipate a strong showing after his season at Barcelona. The teenager has the second-lowest odds to lead his country in goals scored at +200.

Yamal enters the tournament tied for the eighth-lowest odds to win the Golden Boot at +2000, despite coming off the highest-scoring season of his career. Barcelona’s star scored 24 goals with 17 assists in just 45 matches. His elite playmaking also gives him strong Golden Ball credentials, with him tied with Mbappe for the shortest odds at +800.

Michael Olise 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis

Golden Boot Odds:
Most Assists Odds:

Olise has emerged as one of the world’s top wingers after a career year at Bayern Munich. The Frenchman finished the season with 22 goals and 26 assists in 52 matches under Vincent Kompany.

Despite his world-class season, oddsmakers have Olise at +5000 to win the Golden Boot, largely due to France’s abundance of attacking talent. Olise will be a threat on the outside but will likely serve more as a playmaker, similar to his role at Bayern.

Given that he is not expected to be the primary goalscorer, Olise offers better value at +1000 for the Golden Ball. The 24-year-old will be playing in his first World Cup and should quickly remind the world why he is considered one of the best right wingers on the planet.

Should France go as far as many predict, Olise will have a strong chance of earning individual hardware. He featured in five of France’s World Cup qualifiers, scoring two goals while leading the squad in shots per game, shots on target per game, big chances created, and key passes per game. Despite not being the top scorer, many considered Olise the most influential player in those qualifiers.

Ousmane Dembele 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis

Golden Boot Odds:
Most Assists Odds:

Dembele will feature in his third World Cup this summer, fresh off a Ballon d’Or season and back-to-back Champions League titles. The third Frenchman on our list has been busy at PSG, playing 135 matches over the past three seasons, a workload that has led the 29-year-old to miss several of France’s recent matches during international breaks due to fitness concerns.

Dembele has featured in just two matches for France in the last calendar year. Despite his absences, his club performances over the past two seasons have surely secured him a starting spot. He is tied with Cristiano Ronaldo for the eighth-lowest odds to win the Golden Boot at +2000.
Despite appearing in 11 World Cup matches for France, Dembele has yet to replicate his club form on the international stage.

If there was ever a tournament to expect a big showing from him, the 2026 World Cup is it. After a difficult early period in his career, Dembele appears to be hitting his peak heading into this summer.

Should Dembele and France perform well, he will likely be in contention for a second consecutive Ballon d’Or. You can back Dembele to win the Golden Ball at the World Cup at +2000, the third-lowest odds among French players.

Luis Diaz 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis

Golden Boot Odds:
Most Assists Odds:

Luis Diaz is set to feature in his first World Cup this summer at 29 years old. The Colombian joins Kane and Olise on our list, reuniting with his Bayern Munich teammates. Kompany’s front three was statistically the most lethal attacking trio in Europe’s top five leagues this past season.

Diaz wrapped up his first season in Germany with 26 goals and 19 assists in 51 games. He will look to carry that form onto the international stage this summer. Since his Colombia debut in 2018, Diaz has earned 72 caps and scored 21 goals, finishing with a team-high seven goals and three assists across 17 World Cup qualifier matches.

Diaz is +5000 to win the Golden Boot and +150 to finish as Colombia’s top scorer at the tournament. La Tricolor will appear in their first World Cup since 2018, when they reached the Round of 16. Colombia and Diaz are again expected to advance from Group K, alongside Portugal, DR Congo — qualifying for the first time in 52 years — and first-time participant Uzbekistan.

Diaz figures to have a strong summer as Colombia’s primary attacking option. You can back him to win the Golden Ball at +5000, which holds value with Colombia considered a dark horse. Should the South Americans go deep, Diaz would be a big reason why.

Vinicius Jr. 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis

Golden Boot Odds:
Most Assists Odds:

Despite being regarded as one of the world’s best wingers for several seasons, Vinicius Jr. is still just 25 years old and will now feature in his second World Cup. The Brazilian is coming off a solid season at Real Madrid, scoring 22 goals with 10 assists in 53 appearances across all competitions.

To this point, Vini has struggled to replicate his club form for the Brazilian national team. The left winger has scored just nine goals in 48 appearances for his country, including just one in the 2022 World Cup. He may now benefit from the appointment of his former Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, as Brazil boss. Vinicius scored over 20 goals in each season under Ancelotti at the club level.

Vinicius Jr. is currently +3000 to win the Golden Boot and +200 to lead Brazil as the country’s top scorer. He has the fifth-best odds to win the Golden Ball at +1100, while Brazil currently has the fourth-lowest odds to win the tournament at +700.

All Brazilian attackers could find themselves in prolific form early on, as A Seleção are heavy favorites to win Group C at -300, ahead of Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti. Despite his age, Vini is one of the squad’s most experienced players and should thrive under his former manager at the international level.

Julian Alvarez 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis

Golden Boot Odds: n/a
Most Assists Odds: n/a

Julian Alvarez has developed into one of the most talented strikers in the world since Argentina’s 2022 World Cup triumph. The 26-year-old enters his second World Cup fresh off a Champions League semifinal run with Atletico Madrid.

Since moving to Europe following Argentina’s 2022 title, Alvarez has scored 85 goals across Manchester City and Atletico Madrid and is now widely regarded as one of the best forwards in the game. He scored four goals during the 2022 World Cup and has 14 in 51 appearances for his country overall.

Alvarez will play an even bigger role as Argentina looks to defend its 2022 title and become just the third nation to win back-to-back World Cups. Lionel Scaloni’s squad is -260 to win Group J and +700 to win the tournament. Alvarez should enter as the clear starter, though Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez will rotate in at striker as well.

He enters the tournament at +325 to be Argentina’s top scorer and +2500 to win the Golden Boot. His four goals in 2022 were tied for third-most in the tournament, behind only Mbappe and Messi. Alvarez started as Argentina’s striker throughout their 2024 Copa America run but was outshone by Martinez, who scored five goals to Alvarez’s two.

Raphinha 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis

Golden Boot Odds:
Most Assists Odds:

Rounding out our top ten is Brazil’s Raphinha. The Barcelona attacker has been central to the Catalans’ back-to-back La Liga titles and will now feature in his second World Cup this summer.

Raphinha’s season was cut short by a hamstring injury, though he has since been cleared and is expected to play a significant role for Brazil at the tournament. He scored 21 goals and added seven assists in just 33 matches across all competitions. His breakout campaign came the year prior, when the 29-year-old posted a career-high 34 goals and 22 assists in 57 games.

The versatile Brazilian will likely be deployed across multiple attacking positions under Ancelotti, much as he is at Barcelona. Raphinha has proven effective anywhere across the front three and can also drop into midfield to serve as a creator.

After failing to score in five World Cup matches in 2022, Raphinha enters this tournament at +1600 to win the Golden Boot — just behind Haaland. He led Brazil in goals during the World Cup qualifiers and is +275 to do the same at the tournament. Raphinha also ranks eighth in Golden Ball odds at +1600.
