2026 ATP Generali Open Bracket Analysis
Quarter 1
Alexander Bublik is the defending the champion and holds down the fort as Kitzbuhel’s No. 1 seed. Despite the conviction we have in Bublik to win it all, his form this season has been streaky to say the least, while also put in a quarter with Raphael Collignon who just reached a final himself. It’s possible Collignon pulls out, which adds more confidence in taking Bublik to win the quarter here, but his section is riddled with upset potential names such as Sebastian Ofner, Facundo Diaz Acosta and Daniel Altmaier. Regardless, Bublik should be the name to circle here as he is due for a championship appearance or something close to one.
Quarter 2
As a clay court event, the the No. 4 seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry is a solid top pick for Quarter 2. His path to the quarterfinal is pretty simple overall, but the names underneath are a bit worrisome. Much like TME, however, both Ignacio Buse and Adolfo Daniel Vallejo are big threats on the clay court surface – so TME may have his work cut out. However, the dark horse to circle outside the clay court specialists is Vit Kopriva.
Quarter 3
Arthur Rinderknech gets the first round bye in Quarter 3 as the No. 3 seed, facing the winner of Sebastian Baez and Miomir Kecmanovic. That is a tough opening opponent for the quarter’s top seed, while Juan Manuel Cerundolo and Yannick Hanfmann pose as legit threats above. Cerundolo is probably playing with the most confidence on tour, let alone this tournament, and after a tough loss he would be the name to circle outside of the chalk pick (Rinderknech).
Quarter 4
While Valentin Vacherot gets the top spot in Quarter 2 as the No. 2 seed, the name to watch in this part of the draw is the winner of a first round match between Jan-Lennard Struff and Alexander Shevchenko. Both have been playing quietly good tennis in recent weeks, as the winner has a real path to potentially reach the semifinals. While Quentin Halys might also make noise in this part of the bracket, expect the Struff/Shevchenko winner to face Vacherot for a spot in the semifinals.

2026 ATP Estoril Open Bracket Analysis
Quarter 1
This is going to be a tricky draw to decipher, mainly because Andrey Rublev is coming off a title in Sweden but currently penciled in as the No. 1 seed. There is a good chance he pulls out, although Rublev is known to play many matches with little concern for fatigue issues. We’ll see, but for now he is in. If he decides to play, he has another great chance to reach the final with a second straight path to take advantage of. We just saw it with the Nordea Open, and looking at the names in Quarter 1 he has no excuse not to reach the semifinals. Circle this quarter for now with the notion of taking Rublev is if he decides to play, but if not, then Jesper De Jong or the winner of Vilius Gaubas vs. Pablo Carreno Busta would be ‘next man up’ for picks.
Quarter 2
Following a solid week of tennis, Alejandro Tabilo enters Portugal as the No. 3 seed with a first round bye. He will likely face Nikoloz Basilashvili who is also coming off a positive week of tennis. The name underneath create a gauntlet with Hugo Gaston, Damir Dzumhur, Titouan Droguet and Camilo Ugo Carabelli. With the event on a clay court, the stand out here would be Ugo Carabelli. Both he and Tabilo present the best form on the clay from the field in Quarter 2, so lean in those directions but understand this is a difficult section to survive.
Quarter 3
Hometown hero Nuno Borges is in Quarter 3, the event’s No. 5 seed and therefore having to play a first round match. He should be fine, however, with Alexander Blockx getting the Quarter 3 first round bye as the No. 4 seed in Portugal. Borges should be the name to watch, playing solid tennis in 2026 and now with some inspiration from the home crowd. He will likely advance to play the winner of Stan Wawrinka and Roman Andres Burruchaga, so his path is difficult to say the least.
Away from the hometown favorite is Daniel Merida Aguilar, a real threat on clay. The potential meeting between he and Alexander Blockx should produce the quarter winner, especially if Borges goes down. However, if Wawrinka or RAB take out Borges then that means their form is in top shape as well. Much like Quarter 2, this will be tough to advance through, but the bottom of the draw (DMA/Blockx) has the easier path of the two.
Quarter 4
Much like Rublev, the top seed in Quarter 4 is Luciano Darederi who is coming off a deep run in Sweden – losing in the final to Rublev. Oh the irony if they both play and reach the finals here. It is very possible, as mentioned above with Rublev and again with Darderi. He gets the first round bye as the No. 2 seed, but his path to the final is much more difficult with a meeting against the winner of Henrique Rocha and Pedro Martinez immediately. From there, he would have to face (potentially) Jaime Faria or Botic Van De Zandschulp.
While BVDZ is the higher seed (No. 6), Faria is coming off a solid week of tennis and seems to be in prime form for a potential upset alert. As it is in Quarter 1, circle this section and revisit it when we know for certian Darderi is playing. Expect him to, as much like Rublev, fatigue has never really been a concern for him while he will likely want to rush back onto a court and avenge his title loss on his favorite surface before the switch to hard courts.
