Game 4 between the Detroit Pistons (2-1) and Cleveland Cavaliers (1-2) is set for 8 p.m. Eastern on Amazon Prime. Kevin Huerter is questionable to play after missing Detroit’s past six games, and Caris LeVert also holds a questionable tag for the Pistons.

Can the Cavaliers pick up a crucial win and tie the series? Or is Detroit heading home with a commanding 3-1 lead?

Pistons vs. Cavaliers Betting Analysis

The Cavaliers were facing a soul-crushing 3-0 series deficit, but their backcourt pulled through. Donovan Mitchell scored 35 points on 13-of-24 shooting from the field and chipped in 10 rebounds and four assists. He was superb despite Detroit’s best efforts to contain him.

Meanwhile, James Harden had a rough first two contests but redeemed himself in Game 3. Cleveland led 106-104 with 2:28 remaining in the fourth quarter. Harden proceeded to knock down a jumper, sink a floater, and ice the game with a stepback triple. His seven points during this stretch truly kept the Cavaliers’ playoff hopes alive.

Cade Cunningham notched a 27-point triple-double, but the superstar shot 37% from the field and committed eight turnovers, including three consecutive turnovers from 2:32 to 1:51 left in the fourth quarter. Cunningham is now up to 17 total turnovers through three games. While it’s true that some are excusable because of his enormous offensive load, he’s also sometimes making questionable decisions. If the superstar can get his efficiency back on track in terms of scoring and playmaking, then Detroit is in a great spot.

Tobias Harris deserves a shoutout. The veteran is averaging 20.7 points per game this series on 50/45/86 shooting splits. He’s stepped up as the second option with Jalen Duren struggling mightily this playoffs.

The best bet for Game 4 is taking Detroit to win the contest. They own excellent defensive options to throw at Cleveland’s backcourt and are due for a huge Cunningham game. The Pistons may also have found something with Paul Reed. He played nine minutes off the bench in Game 3 and racked up 11 points and three rebounds. Reed is a high-energy big who can take advantage of a Cavs squad that can get caught ball watching. It’s worth noting that the Cavaliers are 5-0 at home this postseason with an 8.4 net rating, so Detroit needs to throw its best punch.
